Very good buy for me since I upgraded from an emachine. The only bad thing is it is very very, nearly impossible to install a graphics card.Yes it has 3 slots for a PCI but its nearly impossible to install it? Oxxymoron if you ask me. But a very good buy.=] My rating for this product. B++

All in all a very good buy. We'll see how it lasts for the long run. Only one little problem. Please make a note somewhere on the use and location of the new "Refurbished" XP key code. I managed to figure it out, BUT a note would have saved me some time and worry.

This desktop was purchased as a gift for my daughter in Florida as a replacement unit. The specs were terrific, and the unit was shipped, received and operational in record time. The ordering process was simple, the unit arrived in perfect condition, and was operational in no time. I will continue to purchase from Overstock.com- great deals, great service!

It came in 48hours.It was easy to set up,with the help of my local cable rep. The case had a slight imperfection in it but it did not affect the performance.Nice machine for the price!!

I've had HP computers in the past and I've really liked them much better then Dell computers. Even though this is a refurbished PC, it is the only one I could find that still had the Windows XP operating system which is compatible with my computer at work. I can connect through our system when working from home. I would highly recommend it not only for the great price and features on it, but also for the ease in setting it up.

I have DSL, and recently retired an old Windows 98SE and installed this refurbished PC. DSL has increased in speed many, many times its speed when using the old computer.
I've bought several things from Overstock; two were returned with absolutely no hassle. Great company to do business with.

I bought it for my sister in law and she did not need or want the new vista system. At first I was nervous about the fact that I would be putting in the software myself, but we did not have to bother with trial versions that we would have to buy later or have AOL offered at every inopportune moment. We simply put in exactly whaqt she used and wanted with no extra junk to take out ot take up space. Just perfect for her and for me to set up.

Arrived in excellent condition. No applications come with it or restore software. However, for the price it is a great bargain and you can customize it with the software you want rather than have stuff on it from the manufacturer that you will never use or want. No floppy disk drive - if you want it you'll need to buy one and install it. Very fast and lots of USB ports!

Great value for this product. Just plug it in and go. The one thing to be careful of, is make sure you install antivirus software immediately and make sure you have the firewall turned on. Do not go on the internet until these two things are done. I made the mistake of not doing those two things and got a virus that crashed my computer. I had to call HP and have them send me the Boot CD as the product comes with no software or manuals.
IF WE HAD INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL THE MACHINE, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT. YOU MUST CONSIDER THAT WE ARE SENIOR CITIZENS AND NEED HELP - WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS ETC, IN DETAIL TO CONNECT COMPUTER. AFTER ASSISTANCE FROM CHILDREN, WAS ABLE TO HOOKUP, BUT HAD NUMEROUS QUESTIONS AND STILL TRYING TO GET THE KEYBOARD HOOKED UP PROPERLY.

I just purchased this product wednesday morning and received it friday. Fast shipping! I've hooked up the compputer and it works great and it's very fast. I also received a larger hard drive capacity that was described so thats a good thing :) Enjoy I know i did!!

I bought this computer to replace my 5-year-old laptop as my main computer at home. I will not use it for gaming so I didn't need all the latest mulitmedia "bells and whistles." I did watch a dvd movie on it that played just fine. I mostly use this computer for online courses, internet surfing, online purchasing, and email.

I purchased this product about 3 weeks ago and I love it. I waited a little while to write a review to make sure everything is working ok. And it is better than ever. I ordered this computer on a Sunday evening and had it in my home on Tuesday morning. Incredible! And shipping was free!!! The hook up was easy! Knowing that I was purchasing a "refurbished" product online I was a little apprehensive, but it has proven itself to be top notch!! I did however, purchase the extended warranty for the "just in case" . I will recommend Overstock.com to all of my friends and family.
