This worked for about 6 months, now we cannot even get windows screen now.Just the blue screen. We do not have a virus, this is a hardware issue but of course, there is no warranty. No boot disks of any kind, and to repair will be as much as cost of item. DO NOT BUY REFURBISHED!

When you spend this little on a laptop of course you can't expect a top of the line machine. I needed a computer for class to take notes, view powerpoints, check my e-mails, etc. This computer fulfills most basic needs but make sure you realize that you will need some sort of office program as it doesn't come with one. It also doesn't come with any anti-virus programs or anything like that. It is very bare bones. However, it does come with Windows XP. This computer also overheats quite easily so you will need a cooling pad if you'll be using it for any length of time. I will say that the original battery that came with the computer did not work but the customer service team took care of it and sent out a new one pronto. So, all in all you get what you pay for and this computer has done what I need it to do. Just don't expect to take it out of the box and use it, plan for the unexpected (including non-working batteries and the need for anti-virus before you go online)

Ready to use right out of the box; on internet almost immediately. Only needed to add security software. Since this was a slightly older model, there is no webcam or bluetooth capabilites, and, if you're not used to it, there is a button that will turn off your internet connectivity. But it does come with an operating system already installed, and valuably, a re-boot disc. These, along with the dvd/cd-r drive, made it a much better value than a netbook, which we had considered. This was my young son's favorite Christmas present!

Well worth the money . I really like the product.Much better than expected.I was reluctant to buy a "refurbished" product. The one I received was as good as anything I could get from "Best Buy" and I saved a lot of bucks. would recommend to anyone!

This computer is great and the price was unbeatable. The options such as the DVD player, software and the ease of connecting it to the wireless router was great. I am very happy with this purchase.

I purchased two of these laptops for my twins for Christmas. So technically they haven't been used yet, but I have registered them & set up some up for my boys. It was easy to get them registered & they look great. No scratches or impairments at all. The delivery was quick and very well, packaged to protect them during transporting. My only complaint is the fact that they do not have Microsoft office loaded. I assumed that all windows computers came loaded with Microsoft Office. One of my main reasons for getting my boys laptops was so they could do their school work, like power point presentation and word documents on them. So now I have to purchase the program. BUT, as for the laptops them selves they are in excellent condition & run great.

After I used this product, I found it to be exactly the way it was described on the Overstock website. Everything about this product works like it would when it was new. I was surprised to see that even the battery is in good working order. After some software updates that I knew would be needed, this computer surfs the internet as well as any other.

I have purchased quite a bit from overstock and have always been 100% satisfied , but this time it was a big disappointment. This laptop looked very worn out and although I did try to boot it up , no luck. it would not accept the product key. I had no problem returning it and received a prompt refund. As always five star customer service from Overstock.com. And again everything I have purchased in the past have been five star products. I'm sure Overstock will not resell it and return it to their vender. It is not the quality of the thousands of products they sell. No bad marks to Overstock , I will still continue to purchase from them.

We got this laptop for our teenage daughter. We didn't want to spend a lot of money because she tends to be irresponsible. We felt a refurbished laptop was the way to go and we definetely got our money's worth!

It's a very nice laptop with good function and appearance. The hard disk is a little small but can be enhanced easily with additional disk memory. Overall it's very nice.

We saw this product online and it was exactly what we were looking for to be used by our daughter who is a budding author. She loves it and is very excited about it. The hard drive is a little small for her taste but that can be fixed. The only problem we have had is when Windows did an update and messed up our settings and we had to use the recovery disk to get things back to normal. It work! Our daughter did it all by herself. For a refurbished laptop this is an exceptional deal!

I am satisfied with this laptop. The installation was quick and easy. Shipping was within timely manner although I got 3 day expediate and that actually means it has 2 days to leave the warehouse plus another 3 days to get to you so I ordered mine on a Monday and didn't get it until the following Monday. I highly recommend this service.Last night, when just checking my email, the address bar kept popping up with the last 20 websites I had visited. It made it so I couldn't type on my email because the address bar was blinking. I was scared because I have only owned the laptop for about a month now. I got the 2-year warranty so if it does it again, I will use my warranty. I recommend that if you are buying a refurbished laptop to get the warranty for peace of mind. It's starting to happen quite a bit, when I type, the address bar keeps highlighting so I have to quit typing. I'm not leaning anywhere else on the keyboard. I'm not sure if it's the keyboard or a problem inside the system? Is anybody else having this problem?
