The HP Business Nylon Backpack offers a sturdy, all-purpose backpack for mobile professionals and students alike. Constructed from durable nylon, with extra padding in the back and shoulder straps, it is designed with comfort in mind. A foam padded handle also makes it easy to lift or carry. Plenty of room is available for materials and books in the three zippered sections, plus an external slot for a cell phone or PDA. Easily transport a notebook up to 17.3", or store a mini or thin and light notebook up to 12.1" inside a neoprene built-in pocket. And just for fun, the headphone pass-through slot ensures access to an MP3 player you can also store inside.

It's well constructed and allows my 17.3" Dell workstation laptop to slide in with ease. It has plenty of pockets and slots for accessories. The carry handle is a plus.

Bought this item for my school-age son. Fits all his books and very study... looks like.. straps are broad and sturdy.. fits comfortably over winter gear. Looks like it can take "rough handling"
