The cable was just as described. Heavy duty and works perfectly. The price was incredible compared to the over hyped cables and plugs (Monster, etc).

After having a 55 dollar HDMI cable fall apart on me, I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices demanded for some of these alleged high quality cables. I now buy all of my cables from Overstock.com and have never been happier at the combination of low, reasonable, affordable prices and outstanding performance. For the most part, cables are like light switches: either they work or they don't. This one works!

This cable looks different than others I've seen. I really don't know how to describe it well. Basically, it is wrapped with what appears to be nylon rope that has been shellacked. I'm sure that's not what it is, but that's what it looks like to me. I actually love how it looks, and would love to replace all my cables with ones that look like that one. Since cables have taken over my living room, it would be cool to replace them all with some that didn't stand out like a sore thumb, and looked cool to boot! Excellent price also.

The cable I received is actually not what is shown in the photo, but a more heavy duty, blue cable. This is fine, as I didn't care about the color. The cord is really thick, and looks like can really take a beating. This cable works beautifully with my hdmi port to my monitor, now I can do dual monitor with my laptop from my hdmi and analog ports.Great value cable if you need an hdmi to dvi cable.

A cord is a cord. Same quality of the high cost electronics store cords at a fraction of the price. These cords do the job.
