didn't work for my setup
The converter did not work for my setup. Not sure if it was a resolution issue or if the product just doesn't do what it advertises, probably a resolution issue.

Be careful what you want to use this for!!!
Be very careful with what you expect this item to do. I expected to be able to plug in an hdmi input wire and have the signal transmitted out on component wires (audio & video). When I plugged in the hdmi input, I had no output signal on the component wires, either audio or video. I do not believe there is anything wrong with the item I recieved. I believe it has something to do with the HDCP. This is some kind of copywrite protection code which does not allow an output signal. So, I assume it depends what source your hdmi input is coming from. But for me, the item did not work at all!!! I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone. While the cost is minimal, I was willing to give it a try, and it is not worth sending back for credit. It may or may not work for others. I did read the only other review posted, which said it worked great.
