I really like this program, and it is great for learning and perfecting song playing. My big issue was the constant crashing when I installed it. I was able to resolve this issue by creating a profile and downloading the update for Leopard. That fixed the issue for me, so perhaps a notification may help future users. But a great program overall that I am thrilled to have.

I cannot say enough how much I enjoy this product. I've played guitar for 20 years and I'm learning something new every time I use the Guitar Pro 5 software. This is a must buy!
Features are terrific,with tabs showing along with the actual notes being played. And a guitar fretboard can be displayed showing the notes to be played on it. The slowdown / speed-up feature comes in handy at times. A few tunes will not be the exact chord/key...however its gives you the idea if how it should be played..all you have to day is to transpose the idea. The sound produce is excellent.
There was no difficulty on installing on my XP pc.

this worked out so great. i got it for my bf who only had a demo. It was really neat to watch him do all kinds of stuff with it. definitely way better than your average tabulator!!! and the price was such a good deal!!!
