Received the product in the mail in a timely manner. Loaded the product on to my computer, however when I went to register it (so that I may be able to access customer support), I was told that the my license number was expired/no longer valid. I reported this issue to Guitar Pro, asking that I be given a new license number. I was told that Overstock was now an authorized dealer, and therefor was not entitled to a new license. So now I have a product that doesn't seem to be able to open any Guitar pro flies from various websites (probably do to the need of an update, which I can't do as it requires registration).

the program is EXCELLENT, learn how to play any song you want basically, with ease... the activation code inside does not allow you to register with the online portion as it reports the key has been cancelled due to the vendor not paying some cost or something... but you can still use the program so it rocks!

This program has a lot to offer, but it it may be difficult for newbies. The instructions/help are sparse. The program wasn't compatible with my computer and tech support wasn't helpful. After a couple of weeks, I gave up and installed the software on a different computer. It works properly now, and I really enjoy the program. I use it to play along with scores. This program allows you to have access to more tabs.

Excellent program, easy to use, very helpfu, would recommed to any beginning guitar player.

I really like this program, and it is great for learning and perfecting song playing. My big issue was the constant crashing when I installed it. I was able to resolve this issue by creating a profile and downloading the update for Leopard. That fixed the issue for me, so perhaps a notification may help future users. But a great program overall that I am thrilled to have.

I cannot say enough how much I enjoy this product. I've played guitar for 20 years and I'm learning something new every time I use the Guitar Pro 5 software. This is a must buy!

My son uses this program to practice when he is learning a new song. He loves the program and says it makes learning the songs eaiser.

Features are terrific,with tabs showing along with the actual notes being played. And a guitar fretboard can be displayed showing the notes to be played on it. The slowdown / speed-up feature comes in handy at times. A few tunes will not be the exact chord/key...however its gives you the idea if how it should be played..all you have to day is to transpose the idea. The sound produce is excellent. There was no difficulty on installing on my XP pc.

this worked out so great. i got it for my bf who only had a demo. It was really neat to watch him do all kinds of stuff with it. definitely way better than your average tabulator!!! and the price was such a good deal!!!
