This doesnt work with a video Ipod so dont buy if you have one.

it did not specify what genertation ipod it was for and it does not work for my 5th generation ipod... it was a waste of money because now what am i gonna do with it.

Griffin says this is compatible with all Ipods with a Dock connector - but it really isn't. Now I have something else for the garage sale. Overstock was great - super fast shipping, and this isn't their fault.

I had the same problem as the reviewer below. This product does not work on the 5th generation video ipods so only purchase if you have an older version.

I bought the iTrip for my 5th generation I Pod Video. The Overstock add says that this is a must have item for all I Pod owners. However it does not state that this iTrip only works with older I Pods with a remote port. I ended up giving it away as it would have been more expensive to pay return shipping. I am very disappointed the Overstock add did not mention that this iTrip has limited compatibility. Griffin Technology had this to say: "The iTrip you have is not compatible with the 5th Gen Video iPod as Apple stopped making iPods with the remote port which is where the small tab you referenced would go. Thanks for your interest. Jerad Griffin Technology Technical Support" I have purchased other items from Overstock. Most performed well or better than expected. If you have the right I Pod this would be a great product. Dev
