This is basically a no-frills docking station. You can use it w/o a PC if you have a charger with a mini-USB male connector. It comes with adapters for both the c and e series players, but they're just rubber bumpers that change the offset off the back of the unit and don't really hold the player in place. Just be careful inserting the player.

The dock seems well made and works well. I have it connected to a couple of computer speakers and it's nice to be able to listen to my Sansa Fuze without headphones. My only complaint is with the brightness of the little blue LED on the front of the unit. I have the dock in my bedroom and the LED is bright enough to keep me awake. It's much brighter than necessary.

The Griffin PowerDock Sansa Charging Base works perfect. It is very well-finished and its very easy to use. You could connect it one time in your life and don't worry anymore about the number of connectors USB free in your PC. As weel as being cheap, it don´t get hot, it's perfect!

I thought this item was a stand alone charger, it is not. It is really a waste of money to buy this item.

Works great with my Sansa Fuze that now drives my home stereo. I can't figure out where and how I'm suppose to use the 'adapter' blocks that came with it. Looks like there should be holes to fit the rubber tabs into but there are none. I may cut those off and super-glue one to the base behind the Fuse as something to support it while pressing controls but it works fine without it.

This dock works very well and is inexpensive. Nice for charging Sansa Fuse and then plug in X-mini speaker and have tiny little music system to go!

I have so many plugins for this and that, that they take take up so much room I can't find them all, but the Sansa charger base is Perfect! It is very sturdy, charges quicker than with just a USB cord and barely takes up any room. It is also much more attractive than all those cords. Considering I own 2 Sansa Fuze's I always have one fully charged now and nothing to plugin or unplug. It is just Perfect.

This is an excellent item for those of us who own a Sansa product instead of an iPod. It does what I got it to do, in that I can dock my Sansa Fuze and have it charge while playing through my stereo system. However, there are two negatives... 1. Cables. There is only a USB power cable (no A/C plug), and no audio cable. This would appear to be designed to be plugged into your computer system to listen via existing headphones. But... 2. The volume is fixed at a near-max level when docked. This is fine (even desirable) when connected to your stereo. However, you cannot use them to listen via headphones. So, for stereo usage (provided you get an A/C adapter), it's great. But not so much for desktop usage.

I needed a dock for my Sansa Fuse player that kept it charged and connected to my desktop speakers. This fits my needs and seems to work great!

This product works perfectly for all my sansas. Nice to have a dedicated dock for them that also charges the device - I use the supplied usb mini cable plugged into a USB Travel Charger Adapter for the power and charging and a 3.5mm to rca cable to hook up to my stereo. Works so well, I immediately ordered another. As others the blue light on front is very bright - easily blocked. Get one if you use sansas!

This is a very inexpensive way to connect the Sanso Fuse output to your audio system. I give the features only 3 stars because there are none. It is bacically a throughput connection to another component. It doesnot come with a power supply which I knew before hand. I purchesed one seperately for around $5. The audio quality is just whatever you plug into it can provide. I am very satisfied with this unit.

this product was purchased for my son. It was delivered on time (2days before X-mas) and came as specified in the description. It fits in the paln of your hand and probably weighs about 2lbs. It serves its purpose as far as charging,and gives great additional quality to the Sansa MP3 for sound. I would highly recommend to anyone that has MP3 lover and/or a teen.
