So far so good i have had mine for a few days no problems quick and smooth adapters use with ease. I like the color wont scratch but can see smudges hand prints on cover. shif key is diffent a bit smaller the left one. Trackpad easy use good screen colors vibrant bright. battery only lasts 2 hours. was not loaded with un usable junk Camera excellent for video chat. Wireless pick up easy to use picks up good signal. I recommend for everyday use good multitask hasnt froze. lightweight to easy to carry around not bulky.

I purchased this refurbished Gateway for home use but it ended up being used by my then 16 yr old daughter for schoolwork, MySpace, music & photography. She is now 18 and the laptop is still going strong. No problems with it at all & my daughter is HARD on a machine. She runs it almost 24/7 now, using it for college coursework, Facebook, Skype, photography & anything else she can think of! She sets it on the bed & the sofa, meaning NO AIR to cool the poor thing! Still it works! It's been 2 years now. What more can I say?

This laptop was exactly what my daughter was looking for. The look of the laptop was very appealing and the features great. The only problem I have noticed is that we tried burning a few CDs the other day and after making one successfully started making a loud vibrating noise and wouldn't work. After playing with it for a few minutes we got it to work but it concerns me that we may have problems in the future. The other problem I have with this laptop is that it does not have a lock for the screen when closed.

I was really skeptical about buying a refurbished product, but I have been extremely happy with this product. It was like brand new. You would never know it was used before. It has the vista operating system and I have heard negative things about that, but I have had no problems whatsoever. I am glad I bought it, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good stable laptop for everyday use.
