Easy to use right out of the box. I typed in the address and it took me right there. The maps are clear, and the graphic shows your car exactly where you are on the map. Clear directions announce the street names. I'm very pleased with the ease of use and the value.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband/myself. It's our 1st GPS. We like everything about it. The only problem we encountered is locating my sister's house (she live way out in the country). The features are great- especially the bluetooth. Being able to find restaurants in unfamiliar areas is also a neat feature. I would recommend this to anyone. We can't wait to head on vacation & not have to worry about getting lost!!

This GPS is well worth the money! I has many helpful features. It hasn't steered us wrong yet even on tiny little back roads that aren't on maps.

I bought this product for my husband for Christmas. He had been really really wanting one. I looked at a lot of them and the different features they have. This one seemed to have everything at a great price. Well he loves it... He works for the power company so he is on the road all day and needs to find streets and roads. He gets called out at night so this is Great it takes him right where he needs to go. The bluetooth feature is awesome. It is crystal clear and very easy to use. We were shocked when we sync 'd the phone and the garmin together and all your contacts go right in to the garmin. It also has a home feature so the garmin always knows how to get you home. It speaks the streets names and has special feature if you want to avoid hwys or u turns. It is a wonderful product!! They only thing that we couldnt use was the MSN feature. You have to be in a service area for that. Which is mostly by a big city(we live in the country). But that was ok for us. It does everything I wanted it to and more!! I also want to say your customer service was fantastic!! I didnt think it was going to be here for Chrismas even though it was guarnteed to be there. I called customer service and spoke to a supervisor. She checked on it for me and called me back that day and reassured me it would be there that they had set up special delivers with the trucking companies. Sure enough it went downstairs and the packages was on my front porch. Thanks so much Overstock!

This was a gift but my son and his wife love the Garmin. I have one and it is easy to use and sure makes traveling easier.

I bought this for my boyfriend and at first he was upset I didn't get a supper skinny one. Now that he has had it for some time and sees how much it can do he loves it. He never gets lost any more. We have become tourists in our own town as we are going to places and doing things we didn't know were in town.

My sister loves the C550, except is doesn't map the city she lives in, Bismarck, ND. Out side of that she uses it constantly. My wife likes hers also.

I received this GPS the morning of our trip to Los Angeles, took me less then 5 min to get it up and running. Once we were on the road, piece of cake. It gave us traffic updates as far as 200 miles ahead ( traffic in Los Angeles on a Friday evening......... do the math) .Got around the heaviest traffic with no problems .My husband took the GPS to a hunting trip , one that he takes every year. Garmin found a route that was 100 miles shorter and almost 2 hours faster. WOW

I purchased a c550 for myself about 6 months ago, and I was so pleased with it, that when my Dad said he would like a GPS Navigator for his Tractor/Trailer I bought him one for Christmas. This Navigator has it all. You won't be disapointed. I specially love the Blue Tooth feature. NO PLUG IN MY EAR....

I purchased the unit as a present for my daughter, the bluetooth feature and the mp3 features were excellent and the battery life of 8 hours sold me. It was pretty much out of the box ready and has reduced her stress in driving to new places to almost zero. Good value and features. I am quickly becoming a dedicated overstock.com shopper as the continued excellent service and the very good prices wear away at any hesitations I might have.

I took the GPS out of the box, read the directions, mounted it in the car using the suction cup provided and had it working in a total of less than ten minutes time. Took it on a trip to Texas the following day and never got lost. Learned real quick how to find restaurants and gas stations. Love it.

Nice produc t. Use somewhat compromised by newer addresses and incomplete listings of locations searched for. Example: well known theater in Hartford, CT not listed (under any name or variation). But all in all, an excellent value and very usable tool.

My GPS has taken all of the stress out of driving my car. I wish I would have bought a GPS sooner. This particular GPS is a bargain at the price. Very easy to operate.

My husband was convinced he would never need one, but while in Costa Rica, going through San Juan he blessed it every moment. After that we came home and bought one, this one has a smaller screen but it is much easier to hide or throw in a purse. I would definately reccommend this to anyone

I just bought my second. After reading and reviewing features of other models, decided I liked the C550 well enough to replace it with the exact same model. First model was destroyed after 10 months of use due to sliding off dashboard just as I was pulling the emergency brake down. It's a fairly irreproducible result, but involved the motion of emergency brake and detachment of cable parts that wouldn't have separated badly if the unit wasn't flying. After some kitchen surgery, I determine a new cable wasn't going to solve it. I ordered the heavy duty friction mount this time to avoid the same thing happening again. It's a great unit, none of the lag in redirecting me after a wrong turn that I've seen in other models. Very intuitive except for the hidden volume control. Good price too, this is $139 cheaper than the first C550 bought from Overstock.

I just installed last week, so nfar working fine. I have used it twice. It was nice when I missed a turn, the 550 told me it was recaculatinng. I didn't get turned around. A power cord should be included for caharging in the house

Works great, love the Blue tooth capability. very easy to use. only complain I have is that due to sunlight and heat in the car suction cup/glue did not stick. I have to use Velcro instead, but otherwise it works great.
