From mapquest to this Garmin, I made a great move. Get in the car type in the address and I am traveling to my destination. Since Houston is growing so fast new streets are hard to find. Even mapquest or google does not have the new streets and at times my Garmin doesn't either. There has been a time when it asked me to exit the interstate and then later get back on the interstate, don't know why. Like everything it has its quirks. But overall rating is excellent.

This came ready to go out of the box. No need to upload anything. It's user friendly and you can pick the language it talks to you in (mine now speaks with a british accent). Makes getting around town very very easy, and if you turn to avoid traffic, it automatically recalculates your route. Gives you an estimated arrival time too. I love this item. I've reccomended it to many of my friends.

I have to admit that I am "directionally challenged". I get lost going around the block. With the Garmin Streetfinder, that never happens now. It's the greatest thing to happen (to my driving) since anti-lock breaks.

I BOUGHT THIS GPS FOR MY HUSBAND. HE IS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE EASE IN WHICH HE CAN USE THIS PRODUCT. HE CAN SEE IT IN BRIGHT SUNLIGHT AND HEAR ALL THE COMMANDS. IT HOLDS LOTS OF MAPS SO HE NAVIGATE JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE IN THE UNITEDS STATES. HE ALSO LIKES THAT THE FACT YOU CAN TOUCH THE SCREEN AND MOVE THROUGH THE MENU..

Ready to use right out of the box. Easily personalized, I downloaded a little jeep (which I drive) to the navigation system. Easy to find locations while on the road such as ATMs, (via pre-programed buttons) with one button you press what you are looking for, then it lists all banks in the area and direct you right to it. It does the same for restaurants, fast food & gas stations....remarkable product!

Have had the product about 3 weeks, love it, ease of operating, fast service. A lot of fun, I get lost now on purpose just to see parts of the cityy and countryside. A full tank of gas and spirit of adventure and a Garmin and the world opens up

This product was easy to use right out of the box. It has helped me navigate unfamiliar territory with ease. I highly recommend this product.

We absolutely love our Garmin! We used it driving from MD to NC and had no problems. It is clear and you can control the sound, which I cannot on the $1000.00 GPS that my company supplied. It is worth every penny and is at a great price!

For the money this item is right on the money. It does everything you need to get from point A to point B. The only thing it does not do is call out the street names as you approach. It will say "go right" "go left" at certain intersections or upcoming streets. There is also a 300 meter warning to an upcoming turn. If you miss, it will automatically redirect you back on course. You can change the little icon cars, I prefer the little rocket ship. You can also change the voice. I use Brittish American accent. You will enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Do not be afraid of it like I was. Once you have own one it is simplistic to operate and you will enjoy the company in the car. I use the windshield suction cup and it works great. The Garmin holds its charge very well. You may find one cheaper on the internet but you don't know who you are dealing with. Overstock did all the right things from billing to delivery. No worries.

This thing is really great, easy to use and great directions.

After receiving my Street Pilot, three days later I took at 3600 mile trip and it preformed a lot easier and better than I expected. It never missed. Took me right to the driveway of every distination I ask it to. I was impressed.

The system gets lost in large parking lots and new construction. Turning can be difficult if there is more than one turn within 300 ft. It confuses it early. It is hard to switch multiple lanes when it says you have to turn left and you are in the far right lane and there is traffic. Otherwise you get what you paid for, the touch screen is a must and it gets the job done. Beats using maps or following suspect directions. Occasionally the GPS can't find the satellite. That is annoying especially when you are lost.

My husband and I are SO pleased with our purchase! We absolutely love it...it is SO easy to use...we didn't even open the instruction manual to learn how to operate it!!!!! We LOVE IT!

This Garmin nav. is great. We use it in our cars and on our motorcycles. It works great. The day to night screen change is the best. We have told all of our biker buddies and they are all getting one. Thanx

The Garmin c530 is a nice addition to my auto trips, But loaded with 2 year old data, is only fair at mapping on a local level. It is not perfect and just does not show some local routs that would be best...Over all is worth the money and is fun to use. One item I don't get is the given total overall trip distance must straight lie rather than actual route, as is always way short????

I needed this item for work because I drive all over Georgia. It has saved me time and the hassle of not knowing where I am going. A definite must for traveling salesman.

Upgraded from c320 to c530. Much better at locating satellites - nearly always instantaneous calculation of routes. Easy to use. Suction cup mount and power cord connection both improved. Received in perfect condition with everything in box I needed. Only downside is the volume knob which is too sensitive.

I never had one before , so I was worried it would be hard to use, but right out of the box it was easy to use. I am directionally challenged and have made several long trips and numerous short trips with success with this. The loud clear voice warns of turns to come then tells you when to turn. The turns are also written on top so you can glance over to see whats coming up. This makes my life a lot easier and I don't drive now without it.

bought this one to replace the one i had that was stolen in my car. its the same exact one except this one is a lot less than what i paid for mine in the electronic store. the value is great and very easy to operate.

works perfect simple and current. plug and play. I would recomend this product
