This was purchased for my college age daughter who has navigational difficulties. Even her old-style map reader parents are impressed with the ease of set up (truly right out of the box) and simple operation of this device. Features such as dining & lodging indicators are a big plus when traveling on rural interstate highways where amenities are not always visible, and the voice feature is very helpful for someone traveling alone She has used this for two road trips already and is quite pleased with the results.

My only complaint is that the database for the streets needs to be updated, there are several places near where I live that the GPS screen doesn't show a road that I'm on, but I think that if you go to the garmin website there are updates available. I just haven't had time for it yet. Great value, take it out of the packaging, plug it in, put ur address in and off you go. Super easy!

WE TOOK AN TRIP AND THE GPS AT TIMES COULD NOT LOACTE WHAT WE WERE SEARCHING FOR, IT WOULD TAKE US TO AN DIFFERENT LOCATION, ONCE WE WERE LOOKING FOR THIS RESTAURANT AND IT COULD NOT LOCATE IT , SO I STOP TP ASK AND IT WAS ACROSS THE STREET, MY UNDERSTANDING WHEN I PURCHASE THE GPS IT WAS ALREADY UPDATED AND READY TO GO, WITH NO PROBLEMS BUT IT WAS NOT AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE MOST RECENT UPDATES TO UPLOAD

I bought two and gave them to my children for Christmas. They both can't say enough about how easy it was to install and was was ready to roll right out of the box. My husband was so impressed that he bought himself one.....Garmin is the #1 GPS.

All information is in a foreign language. .. cannot understand. The current map information is not accurate. From the website it looks as though this is a discontinued item and I cannot get any updates for the mapping system. My mother gave this to me for Chistmas with a great deal of pride, and I hate to break her heart and say it is a piece of garbage. I will probably never use Overstock again. I am not happy at all with this product.

Imagine! I don't get lost anymore! This is a great gift idea for people you know with no sense of direction. The language feature is great. I've set mine on an English accent. Very fun!

I bought Gramin for my husband and he loves it. It is easy to use the touch screen is great. His last one was stolen and although this one has a anti theft device it doesn't have anything on the product stateing that fact. That is my only complaint. Otherwise is it a good buy.

We took this purchase when we went on a three day trip recently. The directions were correct and easy to follow. We were even able to plug in a local restaurant we had wanted to try and we got there NO problem. Love it.

This GPS is everything as advertised. It is very easy to use and convenient. It is easy to see as well. The only feature that would be nice to have is setting up waypoints or a predetermined route instead of just one destination at a time.

My husband gave me this for Christmas and I thought it was a good toy for HIM! I was wrong. I love this thing. I am directionally challenged and this is so easy to use. You just put in an address and hit go. If you miss a turn, it recalculates. You want to find a restaurant, just look it up in the directory and hit go! No more fighting about directions in the car. Just love it!

Great product at a greater price. Can't imagine being without one now. I'll most likely buy another one for my work vehicle (wife gets upset when I take her Christmas present). Work sometimes takes me to remote backroads, so remote there are no road signs. Navigating those areas is much easier now. Several of my co-workers are now planning to purchase one and I've recommended Overstock.com to them.

I purchased this device as a gift for my son who has great difficulty navigating from place to place on his own even with the aid of a map and directions. He has found it to be most helpful and, for him, it is easy to use. Unfortunately, he is unable to view the entire route in advance, which he would appreciate. Other than that, he loves the device.

I got this GPS for my totally "lost " boyfriend for Christmas and it definitly has saved us from some extra long car rides. At first it took a few times to figure out how to set up the street views at a distance that worked, now we turn it on just for fun.

The Garmin c530 is my first navigation system and seems to work great. The only drawback I've seen is that I have to pay $70 to get the 2008 map update, since it was loaded with the 2006 version. Other than that, the audio and visual elements are very clear and adequate.
