Power Supply
Saw this and decided since my Garmin's mount stopped charging I would try this instead of buying a new window mount (double the cost). It works fine however so does my cell phone charger so it was not a nessessity but I am using it. The only design flaw is that my Garmin needs to be powered up each time the car is started, where the window mount was auto on so it was a nice feature.

Works good
I gave this 5 stars just because it works. i don't expect it to do much more than that....Can't say anything about the value because I didn't shop around. The adapter on my Garmin broke so I went on Overstock and found one that would work. I have always gotten such fast delivery on anything I order from O that I just ordered it - after all, it doesn't cost a fortune. The adaptor that came with the Garmin connected at the base. This one connects at the usb thing (I don't know what it's called) and seems to work fine. It powers the Garmin. The other end fits into a standard auto power outlet or cigarette lighter.

Gets the job done!
This charger gets the job done. I like the connector and how it fits in to the 550c.

Does the job
There is nothing fancy about this but it works just fine. Much less expensive than the Garmin branded charger. So far so good.

power cord
I lost my original power cord and was looking to replace it. A cord on Garmins website was almost double the cost of the cord I purchased from Overstock. I received the cord in 3 days and it has worked great so far. Thanks

Garmin Streetpilot powercord
When the kids slammed the car door on my original cord I thought it was all over for my GPS. I found this replacement cord and was skeptical that the cord would be compatiable with my Garmin streetpilot. However it works perfect and I didn't have to run all over the place to find it.
