Came promptly, clips right to vent. Works great for my Lexus without using up a cup holder or dash mount. Is the right device for a car with limited space.

Works much better than the suction mount. Like it so well we ordered a second one. Lets you get it out of the front window and less visable from outside.

I LOVE this vent mount clip. Not only does it NOT leave a tell-tale ring on my wind shield, but it's much easier to install & uninstall and more convenient than using the suction cup mount. Also, I find the vent location easier for me to reach (I'm only 5' tall) and for me to read. For me to reach the windshield mount it was necessary to locate it in a place that interferred with my driving vision which the vent mount does not do.

I ended up using this for about three months and tossing it out. When it first arrived, the two clips, which are supposed to fit into a slot in the main mounting plate for the GPS unit, were a bit too large in diameter. I had to file out the slot in the plate a bit to accomodate them. I could live with that. The clips were never easy to attach to the vanes of the ventilation grill (in my Honda Accord, at least). I could even live with that. After a few months, however, the clips failed to securely grip the vanes, and the GPS would drop to the floor of the car after a few minutes. That I couldn't live with. Do yourself a favor and get one of the beanbag-style mounts that sits on top of the dash.

reasonable, stays in place all the time. well worth the money, no more picking up my gps off the floor of the car after it falls off the dashboard.

With the unit attached to the vent the Nuvi could not pick up a signal. I even exchanged the nuvi thinking something was wrong with the unit, however the same problem.

For those in California and Minnesota, this is the best alternative to winshield mounting. No problems with satellite reception (Dodge Charger).

Love this product. Easy to attach to vent and easy to attach my Garmin Nuvi 760 to it. Well worth the money.

I was looking for an alternative to the window mounted suction cup, and the dashboard mounted sandbag. This item was perfect, it kept the nuvi lowkey and visibly out of site.

This product fit my need perfectly. Easy installation and can be removed as easily to install in other vehicles. I have already recommended to others.

This is just what I needed. I could never get the suction cup mount to stay on the windshield. I gave it 4/5 stars because for me it's a bit tough to wrangle into the air vent, and on my car this positions part of the screen just behind the steering wheel, so I have to look around to see the whole screen. Still, for the price it's a good item.

The vent mount solved a problem for me in using my Garmin Nuvi 680. It's a wonderful device and Overstock had the best price for it after much searching.

It works great! It's easy to use and better than a windshield mount because it is not as visible to would be theives.

This device puts my GPS system in easy view and it's simple to install. The one drawback is that it reduces the flow of the air conditioning to the driver.

WORKS GREAT. THE REASON I BOUGHT THIS IS TO AVOID PUTTING MY GPS ON THE DASH OR USE THE SUCTION MOUNT AS THESE 2 OPTIONS BLOCK A PORTION OF MY VIEW OF THE ROAD. ANOTHER REASON IS THE HASSLE OF HIDING THE SUCTION MOUNT OR THE FRICTION MOUNT WHEN I PARK MY CAR ON THE STREET. THEY ARE VERY BULKY AND IT TAKES A LOT OF SPACE IN MY GLOVE COMPARTMENT. THE VENT CLIP IS COMPACT AND IS EASY TO MOUNT AND EASY TO HIDE. IT HELD MY NUVI WELL.

For the money you can't beat it. It works. A bit tricky getting the clips on to the vent. Not real mobile when it is attached...meaning you can't adjust the viewing angle too much or it falls off. Bought this as the suction cup mount kept falling off in extreme hot or cold weather. This achieves its intended purpose.

THIS IS THE PERFECT COMPLEMENT TO THE GARMIN NUVI NAVIGATION SYSTEM. IT CLIPS EASILY AND SECURELY, AND THE PLACEMENT GIVES FULL VISIBILITY OF THE ROAD WHILE MAKING IT EASY TO READ. WE NEVER USE GARMIN WITHOUT THIS CLIP, AND IT IS EASILY REMOVED WHEN WE PARK OUR CAR.

Attached easily. Works great. Very happy and serves our purpose.

No assembly instructions, but it's pretty obvious and simple. Parts have a very tight fit and once together have a solid grip on the vent and GPS. I am pleased with the product.
