I purchased this Garmin GPS as a gift for my husband. He absolutely loves it! It could not be easier to use. I have a built in navigation system in my car, and after using the Garmin in my husband's car, I will not be getting a built in system again. Built ins are very expensive and are not as easy to use as the Garmins. I have never purchased a refurbished product before for fear that it would have something wrong with it. Never again will I be afraid. Our GPS is perfect and I am thrilled with the money I saved.

This device came complete with attachments and directions, but honestly, all I needed to do was plug it in and follow the on-screen prompts! It has saved me from getting lost since I purchased it. The keyboard display is large enough to use and even on rainy days, the reception has been perfect. I have several relatives and friends who have been in my car recently, seen my new Garmin do its thing, and now they want their very own Garmin. Can't ask for more positive feedback than that!!

I was sceptical about buying referbished, however, so far I am very pleased.My first test was traveling to Detroit to see a baseball game.I had written directions but still used my Garmin. A friend uses one all the time and told me to trust it and it will get you there.He was right. I had no idea where I was and it brought me right to my destinations!I was always hesitant to travel to big cities, but now I am looking forward to doing more traveling in the future. Good job Overstock, I've always had good results buying from you.

I recently made a long trip and relied on the Garmin to get me from place to place. It worked quite well but you also need to use common sense to avoid going off on some crazy path. I recommend charting your trip before heading out so you can find the preferable route. Garmin directed me through major cities where as I opted for perimeter routes to avoid congestion. Also, many restaurants listed in food searches were no longer in business or not at the location once you arrived. Without the Garmin, my trip would have been much more exhaustive and tedious with the need to constantly stop and ask for directions. They are a great companion in unfamiliar territory for locating food, fuel and shopping. BTW, you can't trust online map sources which is what prompted my purchase.

the GPS is great. II is an upgrade fo me. Price is Great! Love the additonal accessories. Haven't used the Music feature yet. Waiting for my Son o come hom from college to help me download music.

I am notorious for getting lost, so I finally broke down and purchased a Garmin 650 from Overstock.com. It didn't come with all of the extras as was listed in the discription (the case was missing, as was the dual car charger), but the Garmin works awesome!! I drove to a place I knew and tried it out, and it took me the exact way that I normally drive. Then I drove to an unfamiliar state and got to my destination without any trouble at all. I would totally recommend this to anyone who travels or is "directionally challanged" as I am.

We had never purchased a refurbished item from Overstock until now and are very pleased with the decision. GPS works as good as new. I would purchase other refurbished items.

This is my 2nd Garmin Nuvi. the first was an 'entry level' Nuvi. This nuvi is far superior to my first one, better features, stronger signal, all around a better machine. I was hesitatnt about purchasing a refurbished model, but it came with all the accessories, it was in new condition, and the price couldn't be beat. I would recommend this GPS to anyone, it was a GREAT value for the $$$, saved over $500 on the full retail price. I can't tell at all that it was refurbished.

this product was an excemptional for me its worth every penny of it i bought this for a camping trip, i never use a gps before i always use an atlas map or a thomas brother guide book but when i try this gps i wasnt even able to open my atlas map, this garmin nuvi 650 was vey detailed and more i thought its gonna be a small screen but its pretty big a friend of mine who always use a gps ask me why do i have to get an expensive gps for my first one but when i told him the price he wont believe me.so thanks overstock. and the package arrive early as well that always a plus. until to my next purchase... thenx again .. im a happy costumer.

I am very happy with this GPS unit. I like all the accessories that came with it and it has been very easy to use. We used it recently to go to New Orleans and back and it was MUCH better than using a regular map. I especially like that you can change the voice. Right now we have "Daniel", the British English voice, giving us directions. I would recommend this GPS.

Product arrived quickly. It was in very good condition. easy to program & download upto date maps. only drawback is that this model is to be discontinued.. garmin will continue to provide svc. this is the 2nd refurbished product i bought & so far i have no complains. I bought a tv 5yrs ago & still functions like new. i expect the same of this product. .for the price & brand you can't beat it!

The battery only holds a charge for a short period of time. Street names are often pronounced incorrectly. I found the directions that were given by the system often took me out of the way.
