Customer Reviews
Traffic feature is automatic and very helpful. If in monitored area, traffic icon pops up, shows location and additional time due to delay on route plus gives alternate routes. Bluetooth handsfree is another great feature that is easy to use.
Traffic function, while helpful, does not tell you the most optimal route in my experience. The problem is that it only gives you traffic updates for the local highways (in Chicago anyway) and the suggested reroutes have always been actually slower. So, if you're getting this mainly for the traffic, believe me, it's way overrated.Text-to-speech works, but the voice isn't that clear, and it talks really fast. The prerecorded voices are much louder/clearer (i.e. without text-to-speech, which his a settable option). Overall, it's a great value.
So great we bought these for our fleet. With traffic updates, hands free bluetooth capability and updated maps, we will have these units paid for inside of 5 months. We really appreciate the hands free feature to help increase the safety of our team members.
Fair price for a fair product. The bluetooth is not the best as people were complaining there is a lot of background noise and the speaker was not loud enough for me. ALso wish itt had built in FM transmitter and advanced lane guidance. The traffic feature works well and it is nice to know, so it automatically avoids it for you. Fast start up time and excellent direction. Easy to use interface.
I bought the GPS for a cross country move my family was making. For the most part I really like this GPS! It is really easy to use. It has great graphics. I love the turn by turn audio directions. There are a couple of things that I don't like though...The traffic support definitely works, but it took us on random roads in weird parts of St. Louis. This wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't be hauling a trailer and driving a huge Penske truck. Also, the bluetooth in it works, but is not loud enough when driving on the freeway.I still like it despite these couple of things.
