We used our Garmin Nuvi255 for our trip from Central Illinois to the Gulf Coast of Alabama. It was WONDERFUL! We got to and from in record time, thanks to the "shortest route" feature. We also used it to locate restaurants while we were there. I trust my Garmin to get me to the right place in record time! It's great. I have purchased two more to give to my adult children for Christmas, and the Overstock price was the lowest anywhere I could find, and I took advantange of the free shipping, so it was really a great deal! And, since there was no tax, I saved an additional $24.00!

It gets the job done. Everything it says it does, it does, and this is a great price.

I found this garmin gps very user friendly. I would consider it worth the money.

This is my first GPS and I found it to be very user-friendly and easy to set up and program. I found the voice prompts to be quite useful and enabled me to keep both eyes on the road. The colors on the screen are vibrant and easy to glance at. I would recommend this product to anyone in need of a GPS device. My only negative is that, in one instance, the voice prompt gave inaccurate information -- it said to "turn right onto 219 South", whereas the correct direction was actually North. Since I was somewhat familiar with the road, this was a minor issue for me, although, I wonder how many other times the voice prompt may be inaccurate. The screen, however, showed the correct way to turn.

Ok just the fact that I will NEVER be lost again is a big bonus!This is a very, very nice GPS for the 1st time buyer...I don't even want to go to bed...I want to play with my new toy!Very easy to operate...lots of cool features...gets you there hassle free!DO NOT hesitate...especially at the prices here...best around...I checked everywhere!GET ONE!

Love it. It does everything we wanted it to do and at a great price. Don't always agree with it's route selection, not always the most direct, but it gets you where you want to go.

What a wonderful GPS. It was just what I was looking for. I like the map feature without the directions and I also like the way it shows how fast your are driving. I would recommend this to any and everyone I know. Thinking about buying one for my husband.

Excellent to use around town or on road trips. I wanted to purchase something that was practical yet effective when driving around town. This product meets both.

This has helped me tremendously to find my way around rural, farm country. There have been a couple of houses that don't show up on the maps but I can find a close number and get to where I'm going. It's fun just to play with, even when I know where I'm heading. I can't wait to use it on a long trip. My only complaint has to do with the suction windshield mount. It lets go even when it's on the beanbag with no GPS mounted. I had it on my kitchen counter, checking it out, and within less than an hour the suction had released. That's frustrating and I'm not sure what to do about it. However, over all, it's a great piece of technology.

If you want a product with a whole lot of bells and whistles, this is prrobably not for you, if you want o get from point to point with clear instructions, then this is for you. I bought this unit for my daughter for her birthday. I have mine for over a year. She ios presently house shopping, so again ideal. I found the price reasonable. The other feature I use often is the points of interest button. I travel a distance from home for some reason. With an easy menu, I can find the nearest place to eat, by categorh, Italian, fast fook or other categories. I could g on and on, by now u know I loove it.

I could do as well blindfolded with a map. It will get you within a half mile of where you're going but not to the doorstep. I like the feature for resturants but that is about it. Won't be long before I toss it out the window while driving. if you see one on the side of the road you'll know I've been there.

I previously had a TomTom and decided to try a Garmin. While the Garmin is good, I was disappointed with the size. It was smaller than I prefer. Therefore, it became an early birthday gift for my son. My main reason for purchasing it at that time was the price.

I love this GPS! I just moved from the suburbs to the city and was afraid I would not be able to adjust. This GPS makes it a breeze! I wouldn't be able to transition to Boston life without it! I highly recommend this GPS. The Points of Interest feature is amazing! This device is so easy to use and charge!

I just love my garmin Nuvi. I went on a trip to Philadelphia and it took me directly to my destination.
