I purchased the Garmin Golf Logix GPS as a gift for a friend. Personally, I do not golf but my friend has been golfing for many years and has been on three different golf courses in two states over the past three days and has had nothing but positive things to say about it's performance on each course. He insists it is extremely easy to use and accurate and will not golf without it now. If fact, his golfing buddies begged him to allow them to use it as well when they observed how well it worked for him. The software was easy to download and instructions were clear and precise and we had no trouble. I would highly recommend this product to anyonewho enjoys the game of golf.

i ordered this product on sunday and had it on wednesday. it works great, its easy to use, just have extra batteries with you because when it runs out of power you'll be mad at yourself if u dont have extra batteries. once you use it you'll wonder why you didnt buy it sooner.

After playing my first round of golf with the golflogix , I managed to lower my score by 4 strokes just by knowing the correct distance to the green. I found the golflogix was very accurate within 1 to 3 yards. I now have lowered my handicap from 19 to 15 over the past couple of weeks using the golflogix. I played 4 1/2 round of golf before I had to change the batteries. All the courses I play are in the golflogix database both instate and out of state. I highly recommend the product to any golfer that wants to lower his or her score.

I bought the logix 1 month ago and now i can't do without it. Its acuracy is excellent but you got to know whereabouts of the flag ie front, middle or back. I would be surprise if you dont lose any strokes of your handicape by using the logix. Its negative is the life of the batteries and the belt clip it too flimsey.

I've sampled various range finders owned by friends. I never liked them as I felt people fussed & paid more attention to them than the game and slowed the golf round. Then I tried this. It's quick, easy and rugged. Mostly I leave it in the cart or on my bag. When there's not an easy, close distance marker I grab it and it's always easy ... already showing the hole and location I'm at when I grab it. When I hit a particularly bad or great shot I hit the button to measure the shot distance ... simple and easy. I don't mistreat it, but don't fuss over it either ... I toss it on the turf, in the cart, in the car trunk, use it in the rain, and never use a case. Nice design, rugged, easy to use the first time and every time. Battery life is pretty good ... I use rechargeables so I don't worry about leaving it turned on or letting friends use it. I could live without it, but I like it as a tool when I need it and it was very competitively priced.

Purchased the GolfLogix as a present for my father and he LOVES it! The program to download courses was easy to use and you can request a golf course if the one you are looking for is not on the list (*provided they can get a Satellite of the course). Works as advertised. i have used it twice so far at my home course. makes a difference knowing where you are without pacing from markers. If only it would help your swing!!

Seems well made and laid out, but the software does not load, so i've not been able to use it. You have to get the software online from GolfLogix, and they seem to have to customer support. Excellent paper weight though!

I've used the GolfLogix for about 4 rounds. It has surpassed my expectations. The readings are accurate and it even had the correct yardage for an auxiliary hole at a local county course. Excellent product. I've already recommended it to my golfing buddies.
