This camera is an excellent camera for the price!
I love taking pictures, especially of the mountains, the beach and woodlands. I've been able to capture fantastic pictures of wildlife with the zoom and not have to worry about the quality of the picture due to the distance from the subject matter. I really can't say enough good things about this camera and would highly recommend it to any amateur photographer.

best camera in this price range
As a beginner in photography for me this is the best camera in it's price range. It gives you manual controls, but you also have the auto function if you're stumped by a particular shot. The Zoom lens works great all the way to 30x. Video and sound quality are very good. the picture quality is great. I highly recommend it to any beginning photographer as a introduction into what can be done with a modern camera.

The best part about my purchase was o.co
I did alot or research on the camera itself. I have done shopping with overstock.com before and figured I'd get a good price. It was a normal price and it arrived within the number of days promised. My problem is with the camera itself. I have had simpler Fujifilm point point and shoot cameras that defintely takes better picture than this one. You do not get as many choices with special program options. I am a award-winning photographer for my macro photographs, like flowers and insects. This camera can't handle any of this. Recently I took over 100 pictures of a beautiful yellow flower in full afternoon sun and the camera never got any of the flowers in focus at all. None of them. Later that night, I used the camera to get a picture of a full moon over the snow-covered Wasatch. The camera never could focus on the moon or the mountains at all. That was a waste of 50 pictures and 45 minutes of shooting time. A total waste. I have tried all the settings for macro shooting and special programs and the camera can't handle taking pictures of flowers at all. 95% of the pictures are NOT in focus at all. My $100 olympus does better macro shoots then this one. I am so disappointed in my fujifilm camera that I doubt if I'll buy any at all again. Will I purchase from overstock.com, of course, Fujifilm, heck no.

My daughter loves it
The camera is a great little starter camera that we bought for our daughter 16. She has a class in High school and she loves it. The only thing I would change is where I bought it. The day we bought it, Overstock.com told us that we would have it before Christmas, it didn't arrive until after Xmas. I won't ever use them again. I fill like I was lied to just so they could make another sale. Please remove me from your list.
