Fuji Finepix E900 9.0MP Digital Camera (Refurbished)

we purchased this camera for mothers day for my wife, and having owned a 2.4 megapixel Fuji in the past, this was a great upgrade. many great features for the amature photographer, and ease of use. highly recommend this product, an when coupled with a 2gb sd card, should provide us years of use and maximization of many of the features. thanks overstock!!

I was impressed with the ability to take photos as close as 3 inches. I wish I had purchased a camera with vibration reduction. There is a Pentax 10.0 Megapixels which comes optionally with a kit - tripod, case, AC adaptor, etc.. I wish I had bought that one instead of the Fuji Finepix E-900. Thank you.

This camera has a great look and is easy to use. However the life of the battery is horrible. The camera comes equiped with a rechargeable battery that allows you to take four pictures, before it dies.

Anyone interested in photography beyond snapping pictures should consider this great camera! It has features found only on higher end models, is easy to use, is medium sized, uses double "A" (AA) battery's, and also includes RAW format! Go from TOTAL Manual mode to full auto in a turn of the knob! Want settings in between? no problem! :) I LOVE my E900, and HIGHLY recommend it to true photo enthusiasts! :)

I guess I can not directly report about the product itself since I really never had a chance to use it. The product was shipped promptly and appeared packaged safely. However, when I attempted to use the camera it would lock-up on the LCD screen about every other time I turned it on. I returned it immediately as directed for returns. Unfortunately this was my first purchase through overstock.com, and this camera was for immediate business use ( a new business) and not pleasure. I am an independant insurance adjuster for homeowners and heavy commercial equipment, and a camera is my lifeline. Very disapointing; but I do understand defects do happen. The product was mailed to Fuji on November 5, 2007 with a respectful explanation letter and I figured I would either receive a replacement or repaired camera promptly, but no such replacement has arrived yet. I am only upset due to the delay in repair/ replace time thus far and the fact that my business is suffering right now.
