These speakers are adequate depending on one's needs. I thought from the picture it would dock my IPod Touch but that is not the case. If you have a "Touch", don't bother ordering this item. I have an old San Disk mp3 player that I have been using with it though, and it seems to be good enough with that. I just connect the line out cable that is attached to the speakers to the headphone input on the San Disk and I can place these speakers and San Disk on a non-skid surface on my dashboard and I can listen to books on CD that I download from our local county library system. That way I don't have to use the ear buds while driving and wait to get pulled over by the local constabulary for not adhering to New York State vehicle and traffic laws. For the price they are good enough. When I ordered them, I thought, "For ***bucks, how good can they be?" But If you intend on using these speakers as a mini stereo system, spend the $70 + on a "real" IPod docking system with speakers with great fidelity.

I bought this specifically while on a trip to Las Vegas. I hooked up my Xmp3 radio, bought some batteries and enjoyed listening to some music at the pool. If you like to travel or get away & these speakers will work for you. They are not bad when using at home. You can't beat the price.

For the price these speakers are great! They have great sound and they fold up for travel. I use them with my sandisk. You can plug them in to your computer or use them with batteries.The first pair I received worked for a few minutes but started to cut in and out with the sound. I went to returns on this site and explained I liked them but they did not work. I did not have to spend the money to send them back. Overstocked sent me out a replacement pair within 4 days.Thanks Overstocked!

I purchased this unit and a white speaker unit from Overstock, which costs seven bucks more, to compare. Apart from the shape of the plastic around the speakers they are identical. Same speaker, same audio and same USB cable. I tested these speakers on my Dell 1525 laptop using the supplied USB cable for power and they were significanly louder and cleaner sounding than the built in speakers. I next tried battery power and connected to the audio of one of those "free" digital to analogue TV converter boxes while the video from the box was connected to a portable DVD player giving me a low power emergency TV set. The TV sound was clear and perfectly acceptable for personal use.

Very reasonable and good quality. Great for traveling to bring music whereever you go.

I bought this a couple years ago and it is a great little speaker. Works great with my computer. Just wish it had a longer cord, but that's no big deal.

These little speaker have great sound and they are small for easy traveling. I use them with my MP3 and computer listening to music and movies. You can not beat it for the price and ruggediness

The sound quality on these speakers is excellent, and they are really compact and foldable - but the reason I wouldn't recommend them is simply because the wire is too short. The headphone plug-in on my laptop is on the front edge, and that puts the speakers in the way, since the cord isn't long enough the allow putting them to the side. The wire is only about 6".

The speakers sound pretty descent for such a small set up. It is perfect for traveling and i use it all over my house, from room to room. And for $6 you cant beat it.

I really wasn't expecting much from these speakers given the price, but I was wrong. These little speakers put out great sound. They are easy to put the batteries in and easy to hook into my iphone. They give out great sound and can run for quite a bit of time with one set of batteries. Great shipping from the 'O, as usual.

VERY POOR SOUND QUALITY. CAN'T HANDLE ANY BASS. WILL NOT HOLD AN ITOUCH WITH A PROTECTOR SLEEVE DO LIKE THE WAY IT FOLDS UP AND WILL WORK WITH ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH A HEADPHONE JACK. CORD IS HARD TO WRAP UP AND STORE

I was a bit surprised by the quality of sound and the output. My past experience with similar items has bin bad. Besides being a biker i also drive tractor-trailers and school buses and was able to hear the music very well over the engine noise. The only issue i had with it is it last only half as long on rechargeable batteries as it does on alkaline.

GOOD SOUND.THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THE SPEAKER COVER IS BASICALLY ALUMINUM FOIL WHICH MAKE IT A LITTLE BIT FRAGILE.

Has better sound than I expected for the price. No distortion when turned up louder. It's compact and easy to transport to the office or anywhere you want to listen to your MP3 player. Great on batteries also - still have the original set in, and I've been using it during my 12 hour shifts for 2 weeks. Very impressed, and would recommend.

Was really surprised at the sound. Bought them for my son to keep on his desk at work so he could listen to his MP-3 player. they work great and come with an adapter to plug into your conputer to save on batteries. The price was unbelieveable too!

Bought this item for my daughter who just loves it. Very compact and highly mobile with excellent sound for these two very small speakers. Great gift find!
