Seems to work great, shreds a lot at one time, but is a bit on the expensive side. I bought this because of the 5 star reviews....and it seems to live up to the 5 stars so far. I do like this so much more than any shredder I have owned.....and this one is the third one. The others got jammed and broke and I had to throw them out. I hope I have this one for a long time to come!
Ok I admit, I do not keep up with things the way I should, so I tend to have several years worth of stuff to shred at a time & blew out my last shredder. I was hesitant to spend too much on a new one, as I was afraid I would do the same thing to it, but I bit the bullet & bought this shredder. I needn't have worried-- it's awesome-- I must've shredded about 7 years of old bills, recpts etc, with no problem whatsoever. I was able to start off the new year with a clean slate!! The fact that it's on wheels makes it easy to roll out of the closet and take care of stuff more often-- it was so liberating to get rid of the shoeboxes full of backlog! :)
purchased this after going through office store shredders too often- wanted sturdier and hopefully longer lasting shredder- this one appears to be able to fit the bill- well worth the extra $

Not a very romantic Christmas present I admit. However, this shredder is an amazing deal. It has not given up one jam, and we have filled several of the big brown paper leaf/recycling bags since it arrived. I ordered this the week before Christmas, figuring it would arrive when it arrived. To my huge surprise, there was a big box waiting for me the next day on the front door...not even 16 hours from when I placed the order. The cost to get this overnight must have been half what I paid, and I took the basic ($2) shipping default. I am continuously impressed with this website. I have purchase other items, a couple gave me small problems, but the return process was just as good as the ordering process. Keep up the good work. This site really shows how much you get taken for at retail shops...

Shredder is quiet and works great. When it gets too hot after shredding many papers, the temperature light comes on until it cools down, approx 20 min. Then the machine resumes shredding.
