This thing is awesome
This monitor stand is really nice. Easy to set up. VERY flexible in monitor placement. It has done everything I have asked of it so far. One of my monitors is a little above it's size rating, but it is handling it. You will definitely need a strong desk to hold two large monitors. Moving the monitors around, rotating and tilting them is very easy. You can adjust how easy and hard this is to do. You will need to tighten some of these if your monitor is heavy. One thing to note is that if you need to push the monitors way back the arms will extend past the back of the desk. If your desk is against a wall, it hit the wall. You can solve this a few different ways depending on your situation. Take off one of the arm sections - but this limits flexibility - pull the desk away from the wall (what I did) or drill a hole in the middle of the desk and use the grommet mount option (what I am going to do.)

I just purchased the Ergotron 45-248-026 Mounting Arm. The set feels very sturdy and does exactly what the description says it will do. The arms raise/lower, swivel, turn, and the monitors can be turned to portrait. I've had many people stop by my office to check out my new high-tech looking gadget. I will say that it took awhile to put together, mostly from trying to figure out which screws adjusted the tension for each piece of the arm. The directions are not very clear, and the pictures aren't that great. I would also keep in mind that depending on your setup you might want to buy longer cords. My standard DVI and VGA cords are now pulled tight, as well as the monitor power cords. I've since purchased new cords and am excited for the new-found deskspace I'm about to have.

Great product. I have it set up for a screen and laptop. The only drawback is that the pipe holding the arms is to short to set it up one above the other and move it up and down. I had back surgery and need to stand up every hour or so and need the computer and screen in the sitting down and standing up position. It is doable if you have the laptop and screen side by side, but not if it's one over the other. The original pipe is 12 inches and the one i bought is 28 inches. It was aditional $xx. Getting another for the home office as well, and of course the longer pipe. Highly recomended.
