I have finally had an opportunity to try this printer on a variety of different professional papers and I cant say enough good things about it. The quality, speed, and operation have all been flawless with paper handling on this model improved over its predecessors. If you want a printer that can be used for gallery quality prints, then get the Epson! One catch I feel I should mention to others not familiar with these products. The printer wastes a bit of photo and matte black inks when switching between the two. It would be advisable to plan your prints in groups. This is true of all Epson Professional printers. One thing to note is the ink capacity per cartridge is greater compared to lower end model yet the cost per cartridge is quite similar. This should bring the cost between them quite a bit closer with use.
