  • Is this compatible with Macbook OS 10.6.8? Also, is the flatbed edge that frames the image area even with the image area so that when you place a drawing on the bed that the paper remains flat? I would like to scan art twice the size of image area in two parts without getting fuzziness, distortion & discoloration around the edges. I would then seam the two scans together in Photoshop. Also, is the lid removable for this purpose?
