The first one came non-functioning. LEDs turned on, but no sound. Made me think it did not have a built in amplifier. Overstock was excellent about sending another one out, immediately. They gave me a free shipping label to send the first one back. Second one came and worked. I still use it in my bedroom, in conjuction with a DVD player and projector. Sound is weak. The amplifier is underpowered. Not a bad investment if used in a small room; perhaps the bedroom. It is necessary to turn the bass down all the way, and volume up. Bass rattles the speaker enclosure too much. Remote is cheap and will break in due time. Like I said, it's a ***** bucks. Sound bars usually go for triple that amount......minimum.

The ESP101 is perfect for smaller LCD screens (32" and smaller) systems. There is very little assembly and is easy to wall mount if needed.The sound is clear and is what I was looking for in my application of the unit.The price is very reasonable for the product.

Upon arrival the unit had 2 small cracks in the case from being dropped. I got with customer service they gave me a $20 credit on my account. So pretty satisfied. The cracks did not hurt performance of unit. For the money the unit sounds good it needs an external equalizer in the line to get the midrange peaks out but then it is very good. Good solution to a bunch of speakers in the room.

It works as advertised. Great sound. It is large and heavy if you are going to mount it on the wall.
