I bought this Stereo system for my husband, specifily to play his old 33's on. It works beautifully and all the other things, the CD unit, the cassette unit , and the radio work very well also. We love the outside wood design and it is compact enough to fit just about anywhere in our house. I also like the ability of being able to plug headphones into it. The headphone plugin also provides me with the ability to hook it up to my computer and download the 33's onto a CD which I have done and it works very nicely. The price is certainly right as I did some shopping and price comparisons. The speakers are of ok quality and the volume does not go as high as a lot of our other units go, but for the money and the versitility, it rates high for the needs we have.

I had a couple of minor issues with this product when it arrived. First, the instruction booklet states that there should be an anti-skid rubber mat that needs to be placed on the turntable before playing records. That mat was missing; therefore, my records are being played on a hard surface rather than a softer rubber surface. The second issue is that the needle on the phonograph had to be replaced immediately; the needle that came installed was already worn and sounded terrible! Luckily, Overstock provided me with the replacement needle. These issue were very minor to me. This unit has a great appearance; very nice and classy looking. The sound is remarkable for such a small unit. I was very impressed with how clear and dimensional the audio sound was when I played the different components of this unit. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

I bought this as a gift, so I got it early so it would be here on time. It was broken from day one...but too late to return it. The CD player won't open far enough to put a CD in.
