Good idea, poor implementation
The antenna would probably work better if the cable (feedline) didn't lose much of the signal. At Wi-Fi frequencies the RG-174-like cable used loses half of the signal for every six feet of length. I tested signal strength using a spectrum analyzer and found that the antenna generally was not any better than the stock antenna on an old Dlink wireless. Where this antenna MAY be of use is for floor mounted equipment with a small antenna located close to the computer case or where the router is in a questionable location and this antenna can be used to get the signal out in the clear and up a bit higher.

Didn't perform as advertised.
Purchased this in hopes of bumping up my wireless signal throughout my house. Actually reduced signal strength throughout house in comparison to antenna which came with the wireless router.
