This is a great product...allows partner and me to charge phones at the same time or a phone and an ipod. Anything that requires a usb. The only thing I would have liked is if it came or O carried usb cables . I don' t want to remove mine and take to the car so I bought separately two extras. Well worth it. Great idea!

This 12volt usb charger will work as expected. Plug into your auto's 12v socket/plug in the usb cord to the device you wish to power. Nothing else to say other than I wonder what the life expectancy will be?

I tried to use this to charge two devices at the same time - an iphone 4s and a battery case for the same iphone - now to this product's defence I later found the batter case to be deffective and flawed so maybe it was more that case than this product but after using both usb slots at the same time i suddenly smelled melting/hot plastic, and unplugged everything, this thing no longer works with an devices plugged in. I believe the internal fuse was blown because I have since tested the socket it and it's still functional. I cant for certain say whether the defect was this product, the case, or a combination of the two, I can only tell you what I encountered. Good luck.

GREAT item. Used with a USB cable it's much better and much smaller than a typical car charger. Perfect for charging more than one item at a time using USB's. Very handy.

Can't beat it for the price. the double hook up is very convenient for my phone and kids iPod. It gets pretty hot with 2 devices, but no problems yet. My guess is that an Ipad and Iphone together might overload it, but I don't know.
