The quality of the cable is good, and it works well. If you have the need for this, I like the option better than buying an HDMI cable and then a small adapter to dvi. (and it's actually cheaper). BUT ... you won't be able to use the cable for other HDMI only devices. The other thing to keep in mind: DVI does not have sound. If you want to connect a cable box to your tv, you need to send the the audio separately to a receiver (can't send it to the TV because it will disable any other inputs when an HDMI port is in use). This is a normal functionality, just be aware of it. Overall, if you know this is what you need, this cable fits the bill.

This product works great to connect our computer to our TV so we can use our computer as a DVD player. These types of cables are so much more expensive in stores than we paid on Overstock.com. This was a great deal!

I purchased this cable to connect my cable box to HDMI connection on the TV. This single connection was going to replace multiple connections. Problem was it split the TV picture into 2. It may not be all cases but I guess in my case the DVI HDMI connection was not compatible.

I can finally hook my laptop to my 42" plasma the way it was meant to be. Made a great difference. Well worth the price. Actually would have been happy to pay twice, but don't tell anybody.

I purchased this product online and within a week, it was shipped right to my door. Now, I was hesitant when purchasing, because I knew that a quality cable like this sells for about $30 in competing retail stores, and I was to not get my hopes up for spectacular quality. I sure was wrong. Upon connecting this cable to my computer and HDTV, my graphics card recognized my tv and within 60 seconds, I had a crystal clear HD picture on my TV. Picture quality was amazing, and I was just amazed at how much of a steal this price was. Great value, would definitely recommend to others!
