I'd like to start by saying that I have made many purchases from Overstock and have always been happy with the product sold. I made this purchase because I thought it would be handy to throw in my camera bag for travel. It would have been great, if it worked. This is the first time I've ever recieved anything this cheaply made. Might be worth a dollar if it worked. In this case, it didn't. Tried many times at different USB ports on my computer. My normal connections are the two USB ports on the front of my computer and this is where I normally connect and transfer files through portable USB devices. The case is cheaply made. If you try to remove the cap using where the grips are it just squeezes the cap tighter on the USB connector and you can't pull it off. You have to squeeze from the sides and by looking at the picture, that doesn't give you anything to grip on. The hinge end of the device that covers the USB connector is very cheap and broke in my hand the second time I opened it. But most importantly, It Didn't Work. This one was not even worth the hastle of returning so, It went straight into the trash can. Don't waste your time on the product, there are better ones out there from more reliable names and cost about the same or even less. Look around and find a better one.

This is a really cool item. It works great and all my co-workers want one. Just to be able to bypass all the cord hookups on our cameras and slip the SD card in the device instead is great!

Really loved this...technology is now more improved and you can often times put the memory card right into the computer or printer. But at the time, it was just perfect! If you need this type of adapter, you will be thrilled.

I found that this was great for reading my SD cards. I think I had sometimes issues if I used an Ultra SD HC card but for the most part it worked fantastic. I only had one issue that I had the device in my laptop and someone shoved my laptop and I didn't have the card cover on it and somehow my digital card was bent. My user error - I didn't take advantage of the protection available.

I bought this in 2007, and it still works as well as it did then. It has been used a lot.

Received very quickly and works great. I keep it in my camera case and I can download to any computer.

I absolutely love this product. I found it extremely wonderful to have when switching from my laptop that has a card reader, to a desktop that work that only has a usb slot. I have 4 different memory cards that I am easily able to insert to go from computer to computer with. Would definately recomment this product as I am about to purchase them as gifts for friends too.

It does everything it is supposed to, but it's already falling apart. It's much easirer than fumbling around with a USB cord every time you want to transfer a picture or two but the quality of the product is poor. If I had to choose again I would probably get a different brand.

I can get this to read my card, even with help from the IT guy at work. Wouldn't get it again. I have a full size card reader attached to my desk top Mac that works much better than this.

This was absolutely wonderful. Easy to use and you can switch SD cards to put whatever you want on then. Very portable. Would like a different choice of color though.

I love this product. It's nice to be able to manipulate my pictures withouh having to deal with any complicated software instillation or even having to find a USB card to plug in the camera...This plug and play is very convenient and esay to us....

Though it works as described, the USB plug cover comes off regularly as there really is nothing for it to grab ahold of or snap to. Other than that, very light weight and easy to use.

This card reader makes downloading onto the computer so much faster than from the camera. Easy to use. No problems with XP recognizing the reader. Only problem might be with the hinged plastic cover over the usb connection eventually breaking from repeated use.

This was the best money I've spent in a while. Very easy to use. I have recommended it to several people. I use it @ work, home and anywhere else. I gave it 4/5 stars because the back latch can open on its own. Card has never fallen out but not as secure as I would like.

Compact design is easy to carry and easy to use. Just insert card and insert into USB. That simple, that fast.

I first purchased the Silicon Power 2GB 180X flash drive for my husband. It kept opening in his pocket so he didn't want to use it for work (afraid that it would break). So That one is mine, I have all my files and pictures on that one. This one has a lanyard and a cap for the USB connection. I was disappointed that a memory card did not come with the unit, but we have extra cards that came with our camera. My husband uses it for work, sometimes he needs to plug it into the back of the computer, inconvenient, but it doesn't bother him too much. He can also use it with his iPaq, and it works for what he needs it for, so he is happy.

the EZ SD2GO 2-in-1 USB 2.0 Portable SD/MMC Card is wonderful for holding pictures and transporting them from you camera to your pc, but it is a not very reliable when you need it for the usb, and that is what i primarly bought the device for.

It was just as advertised but did not fit my tower due to the size of the plastic case. I wil be able to use it for my lap top though.

I just received a "tiny" digital camera for my b-day, so my big 4 in 1 card reader didn't fit into my new camera bag. This one fits perfect, so I can take it with me everywhere and be prepared to download without cables or wasting my camera battery.
