Why did you choose this product?
I have had no issues technically with this laptop. It is super powerful and handles gaming beautifully. The power and the display are truly everything expected and more!!! BUT the "special" gold toned metal key caps are a huge letdown. Withing 1 week of installing them they began peeling, and within a month they were unreadable and I had to change them back. Also when first setting up the laptop it prompted me to upgrade to Windows 10, which I did immediately. Doing so unfortunately disabled the touchpad/numpad and the Nahmic sound software. In order to restore the functionality of these items I had to, manually install new drivers for the touchpad. And for the sound system I had to totally uninstall and reinstall the software. MSI does not have easily accessible support for this issues and their automatic updates for the device to not address it. Despite this I am overall thrilled with this purchase, and undoubtedly the envy of all of my friends in the gaming community.
