I loved this tripod until it broke, rather suddenly. I was taping my cousin when she accidently, lightly bumped the tripod and thankfully I caught my camera but the screw on the side that holds the removable plate completely snapped off. When I checked the company website for a replacement piece, there was none available. I have another tripod that looks similar but is definitely more sturdy and stable..

I purchased this tripod a few weeks ago so I would be able to have a steadier hand to take photos of birds. The tripods performed just as I had hoped. The legs stay secure when they are placed at a higher lever and they lock into place. The center post tightens up nicely and the platform for the camera is sturdy. I was apprehensive about putting my camera on it for the first time but it held it wonderfully. I really like the quick release for the camera. All in all I would recommend this to anyone who needs a camera tripod.

I had been searching for a tripod for a while that was study enough, and of a good quality. Since filming videos and taking photos is more of a hobby and not an actual profession I could not justify spending 100 bucks for a tripod. I am glad I purchased this because it is excellent quality. I love the fact there is a carrying case that comes with it. I has many features and for the price it was worth every dollar i spent on it.

I used this Tripod for video capturing. tilting and keeping it at a fixed place was very difficult. knob to tighten is very small..not easy to use. panning was not good either. central rod to move the head kept falling and not staying at a ht. I have used video tripods in the past which were much better. all the problems are in three tilt and middle central rod not staying at a given place. legs are good.

I was so surprised to see how compact the stand is. It folds down very compactly and fits snugly in its case. The stand adapts to all of my camera needs. This is a great value for the amateur or professional alike.

I initally bought a cheap, very cheap first tripod for my DSLR camera and after the first use I realized the error of my ways. I then purchased this tripod as a replacement. I have used it several times and I am very pleased with my purchase. The light weight, the locking telescoping legs, three axis head movement, the two bubble levels, quick release mount for the camera. I cannot ask for more! There is even a hook at the bottom of the stand to hang weight onto to add stablization in windy or uneven conditions. The only drawback for me is the horizontal axis adjustment. The twisting screw to tighten/loosen for that axis travel feels a bit flimsy and and jerky if not fully loosened, but it works fine. I would expect more if I paid several hundred $$ on a tripod. Photography is a hobby for me. If you fit this category, then this is the tripod for you. Because of the light weight of this tripod I can see a professional photographer using this tripod. I will be travelling to Yellowstone in a few weeks and I plan on packing this puppy. Light and compact enough to hike with.

this tripod is really clean with a handle on it - a carrying case and a bubble level - it elevates and locks down. now a fluid head but a steady confident hand and pro skills will make this tool work

I had gotten the tripod for my husband as a gift --- he was VERY pleased with the product! It didn't take very long before he was able to use it --- mounting the camera on the platform was fairly simple to figure out. He experimented with it for a few minutes and commented that the tripod seemed quite stable --- the clamps that secure the legs to their desired height seemd to be very secure. A great product that I would gladly recommend!

I bought this to use on our cruise to Alaska. I wanted something light to use with my new Rebel xsi. It is perfect and the bag that comes with it will make it easy to tote along.

This is the easiest, simplest to use, yet sturdy piece of camera equipment I have ever had the pleasure of buying and using. It is great to work with and self-explanatory, which is rare for any camera equipment, in my book. I loved it to use with my new camcorder that fits in the palm, but this holds it stead... no more wiggly movies.

Great Value, sturdy and very easy to set up. Has all the features of high end tripod at an economy price, also came with a zippered case w/strap. Also have a monopod from same mfg. and am equally satisfied w/that item
