The first battery didn't work in the camera ( Kodak Easyshare M583) it was suspose to be a replacement for. I had no trouble returning it and getting a new one. The new one doesn't work either. The camera says the battery is hot and shuts down.

I purchused a Kodak Digital Camera and wanted to have extra batteries on hand. I checked the price at a local electronics store and the battery was $$$ there. I did some searching and found a replacement battery on Overstock.com at a much lower price (under $$$) so I picked up 2 of them. I used them in my cameral until the power was drained on both and plugged them in for recharging and neither would recharge. I was disappointed but found other reviewers had the same problem. I was going to return them but the return shipping charges was more than the price of 1 battery. I am not going to go any further in debt on these batteries so I will pay the price at the local electronics store where I can return them if there is a problem.

Should have paid attention to other reviews. Received the product in good condition, but when I put it in my camera, it gave me the warning "High Camera Temperature" "Camera will be turned off". Tried to return, but cost to return was almost the same cost as the product. Next time I will pay more attention to the reviews. Hope this helps anyone else from buying this product. At least if you are going to use in a Kodak Camera.

I bought this battery for my Kodak M 530. When I searched the site for the Kodak 7006, this is the one that came up. It was advertised as a replacement. After charging it, I got the message on the camera that it was shutting down due to hot camera. This happened several times. I decided to read the other reviews and found someone else had the same problem. I guess I missed that review or did not think it mattered since the other reviews had no problem (the first poster did not give the camera type). Was I disappointed !! Now I am off to search for the 'real thing"

The battery did not work in the camera. It kept on saying the camera was overheating and needed to shutdown. I was shocked at this message as I've never seen it before. I really need to see if this is a manufacturer defect or just a one off.

This is the third time I've purchased these replacement batteries. It's great with my M883.

The battery for my digital camera is perfect for my camera and the service was excellent. I love it.

I lost the charge for my camera, and I found this cheap one, surprisingly, it works so great that I would highly recommend it to my friends whoever lost the charger.

I bought 2 of this batteries. They worked great and had no problems at all. The charging period is even faster than OEM.
