I bought 2 of these for my Sony Cybershot DSC-HX9V. These are supposed to be a replacement for the battery pack this camera uses. When I attempted to use the batteries in the camera, the camera said, "Not a valid battery". In any case, be careful with the newer Cybershot cameras as they may not accept these batteries. A friend with an older Cybershot was able to use the battery with no problem. Maybe Sony will change the firmware to accept...otherwise I am out $40 for the pair of batteries I got.

• How is the quality of the product? Not sure, won't work in my camera as a replacement for the OEM battery it claims to replace.

I bought this battery to use with my Sony H50 cyber shot as a back up and it will not work in my camera. It powers the camera on but then comes an error message that says use a compatible battery.

Good for the price, it held just as much charge as the original Sony battery, work great.

I bought two of these, and they work fine, which have no differences from the original.
