I tested battery life using movie mode on my SD 800. The Dolica took about 55 minutes of movies; the original Canon battery that came with the camera (with the same 1120 mAh rating) lasted around 110 minutes. I recharged the batteries,did the test again, and got the same result. So, I'd recommend the Dolica as a spare, back-up battery, not as a replacement battery. Still, since it's half as good for about a quarter of the price, I consider it to be a good value.

I have used this battery in my CANON SD800 IS since I received it. I would say that it is equal to the original CANON battery that came with the camera. No noticeable lag time and holds the charge very well.

Got this one for my new SD850. It takes more pictures than the original battary in full charge. Because this one is 1120mah. Price is very good. The price you paid for the original, you can have 3 of this.
