I bought two Dolica filters for my brand new Panasonic fz150 camera. I'm not a pro so I can't say if the UV "effect" is very good or not, but it protects my lens well and fits perfectly. My camera is a "mega zoom", using a permanent 52mm lens which does up to 24x optical. The darker CPL filter, works well except there are dark corners on the photos. Very, very noticeable. I imagine this is because of my wide lens, except that I have another higher-price CPL filter which does not have those dark corners. The higher price lens without the dark corners is Hoya brand, but they cost too much for my beginner tastes. So... If you don't have a wide angle lens on your camera, buy the Dolica filters. Also, ensure you do not stack filters on top of each other, because that will indeed cause even darker corners. The Dolica tech support was very gentle and nicely said they are good at quickly replacing products. I've not yet contacted them about the dark corners...because it was such a good deal. But...I can't use the dark corner CPL filter. I'll save it as an experiment filter, but I would like to be contacted about it. Thank you.
