Digital Photo Keychain (Case of 4)

3 of the 4 keychains worked fine. 1 of them had a messed up screen (blurry around the edges). Since Overstock.com has a 20-day return policy on electronics, I wasn't able to return it, since I bought it as a Christmas gift and it was too late.

I thought maybe it was me, but my 20 year old son who is a whiz at this stuff, can't get his to work either. I purchased this in the 4 pack, for Christmas gifts and no one has been able to get theirs to work....very disappointing. I called the keychain customer service phone number a few days after Christmas and they were still closed. I'm going to give it one more try, hopefully we will be able to get them to work....they look so cute.

For some reason I was expecting something a little nicer. These keychains look junky. The screen seems to scuff easily so it's really going to be something you will want to hang somewhere and leave it alone. 2 of the 4 I purchased didn't work when unplugged from the computer. After researching this problem I found that it's a common one with this digital keychain. Do a quick look around the net before purchasing, you will see for yourself how many have had this problem. It's really amazing to me that this even gets as good a rating as it does on this site. The program is pretty basic and easy to use, though extremely limited in what it does. I figured in getting the 4-pack that I could easily put the same package of pictures on each of them but I was wrong, I had to manually search and upload them for each one. And though another common problem was getting the software to work, I followed the instructions and had no trouble at all. For the price of this thing though...it just seems like it should be in a crackerjack box or something. I will say that Overstocks customer service was extremely reasonable in resolving my problem with this order and it does give me faith in them towards continued purchases with them. A+ to Overstock, F- to this junky gadget.
