The digital keychain is very nice. The images in the screen fade and reappear in different formats. Like for example shades. The Keychain is light is easy to use. The buttons up top work well...buttons like the play ..stop...and other features. The software is interesting because it let you browse to find images in the computer to load in. I feel this product is a very good value for the price of close to 30.00. If you go to Radio Shack you can use the orginal usb cord and an adapter to plug the item to charge through the Ac outlet instead of the computer. I hope this help you all.

great service
from Atlanta GA,  Oct 30, 2007

Really small and light, amazing picture for that. Unlike some people, I had no problem with the Mac software once I figured out a couple of tricks, and it's very straightforward to load pictures. I did have trouble with mine not holding a charge, but here's the great part: I called customer service, and didn't have to hit a single button before I got a real person! and when he couldn't determine how to solve the problem, he offered me a new one! Now that's service--worth buying their products just for that.

Nice photo viewer, great gift!!
 from Maryland,  Nov 30, 2007

Pros: Nice little photo viewer, very compact but with good picture quality. Very easy to use, has simple and clear controls and screen guide. Program to download photos to the viewer couldn't be simpler - find the file where your photos are, click on each one (there's a preview of each photo as you click on it's file number, very nice) and click on an arrow to move it over to the download screen. Then just click on Sync, and in a few seconds, they're on your viewer, ready to show off to friends. Best photos to download are closeups if possible, as objects in the distance in a photo are harder to see on the viewing screen. Cons: It will sometimes cut off a small part of a photo to make it fit on the screen (not a big deal). Overall: Great gift for new parents or grandparents, who would love to show off the kids! Clear picture, ease of use and small size make this a great value for the price.

Nice gift
from Glendale, California,  Nov 2, 2007

This is a nice gift for a proud mom. It is actually very easy to use once you figure out how. The instructions are not very clear, and I work in the tech industry. My wife absolutely loved this item. It hold 60 pictures, which is a good amount. Everyone she has shown it to (which is a lot) has really liked it. It is a really cool way to share photos without having to carry the pictures around. This is a good value for the money and a nice conversation starter.

Works for 32 days...
from Bay Area, CA,  Oct 23, 2007

Maybe we got a bad one, but after synching it only 3 times it now won't work. Thought it would be a good gift for a techy dad, but now i'm going to have to spend the money on something that will last. You get what you pay for I guess.

Best on the internet!!
from Portland, OR,  Aug 21, 2007

I can't believe I found this item for the price! Everywhere else was offering at least twice the amount! The effects of the keychain is amazing and now I can show off my grandkids to everyone. However, the picture quality is not the best, but it's definitely good enough considering the price. I'm even considering buying them as Christmas gifts this year!

The price is reasonable and it is easy to use, but the product don't last longer. two weeks after been using the product it broked. I exchanged for another one of the same kind and the second product went off to. So, I DO NOT recommend this product.

great little toy for the price
from Cherry Hill, NJ,  Oct 22, 2007

I love this little key chain. It was a little confusing to get it going at first, but now it is very easy to use. Pretty good picture quality for the price and for the size. Betteries hold the charge for a while if it is not constantly running. Note to buyer: You must fully charge unit for approx. 6 hours before you can put it in the correct mode to download the pictures. Before that, the softwar will give an error message saying program not found. One quick phone call to the 800 number fixed the problem. Not very clear in the instructions that come with it. Overall I am very pleased with this little toy and I carry it with me and always have pictures of my kids wherever I go.

Photokeychain
 from Wisconsin,  Sep 28, 2007

I purchased two. One for a friend and one for my mother. I gave the one to my friend right away. He is extremely electonic literate. He could not get the item to hold a picture unless it is plugged in. The battery will not hold a charge. EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED. I basically just waisted my money on a product that does nothing it promised unless it is plugged in. It is a keychain. How much sense does that make?

Difficult to use, doesn't hold a charge
from Evanston, IL,  Sep 1, 2007

This keychain was surprising difficult to use; the software was not user friendly either on Mac or Windows, and there's no online support available. In fact, the Mac software version only works on OS 10.3 (wouldn't even start up in 10.4). Once the keychain is running, it only holds a charge in its battery for about 2-3 days, even if you don't turn it on. Picture quality is fine, but too many other drawbacks.

Excellent viewer!
from Athens, GA,  Jun 20, 2008

Everything worked as stated in the instruction booklet on first run. If you have a little experience with computers, no problem! Well worth the price. I would definitely recommend this pocket viewer.

It's ok - just ok
 from TX,  Apr 16, 2008

I purchased this photo keychain as a gift. This is a device and an industry really in need of some ease of use improvements and being more in touch with their customers. The hardware isn't bad. It could use some improvements but it's about what I expected for the price. The software though needs help. the PROS: * Good look and feel on the hardware * Image quality and battery life are what I expect at this price (I'd love better but honestly I'm not willing to pay for it.) the CONS: * You have to use their software which is ok though not as easy as just loading pictures on a typical Mass Storage Device (like a USB stick). * Software is on a mini CD so you can't use it in most Macs * The disk we received was so scratched it wouldn't even work in a PC

from queens, new york,  Mar 18, 2008

While the idea of this keychain is very cute it isn't very easy to set up.It was a gift for my teenage daughter who does everything on the computer yet she hasn't been able to set this up as of yet. I am still hopeful

Really Crummy!

I thought this gift would be great, turned out to be a piece of junk. Battery would not take a charge. Controls would not function. I am hoping I can send it back and get my money back.

Only looks cheap
from Fort Bragg, NC,  Oct 27, 2007

Housing looks like cheap plastic (it is) but the ease to use and quality of what's inside are well worth the money. Great gift for a loved one as long as they are not picky about looks.

It was a gift and they had a little trouble getting it started...but when they called cust support ...all that was needed was for it to charge longer than it said to in the instructions and it worked great after that! Great product and would recommend it to everyone!

Expensive
from New Orleans area,  Sep 29, 2007

This gadget is really neat. It is a basic black square, so it is appropriate for a man. However, right after I bought it, I saw similar items in local stores for less - even half the price! True, the half-price ones had a smaller screen, but really I think the price of this one is a little high. I gave it to someone as a gift, so I am not sure how well it functions or how well they like it yet.
