Cheapness you can hear
I got these speakers using my Club O rewards, so they were free. Even at that price, they were too expensive. To begin with, they are very badly shielded, which means other electronics anywhere near them cause static and popping. This is not a good feature in a pair of computer speakers, which I quite reasonably put on my desk next to my computer and monitor. And if that isn't enough, the right channel stopped working within the first month. So now I have one speaker that does nothing, and one that hisses and pops. There are many varieties of computer speakers on the market. Pick a different one.
