  I do not recommend purchasing this Video Camera. You will probably waste your money. The software it is designed on is outdated and it will not operate under any of the modern day windows programs. The software this piece of s... calls for cost more to get and install then it diid. Waste of my money! If you want to waste your money buy one!!!

  Very simple to order from overstock. I was a little hesitant about the camcorder because it was refurbished but it did not disappoint. I love it, very easy to use once you realize the screen is touch screen, and very compact.

  I just received the camera and tried it out briefly. It does what it is advertised to do. I put in an SD card and used the IR setting to photograph the dog in the backyard at night, and it did fine. The range is not long, so if you want to do serious IR videography get an IR light bar attachment. Very impressed with the overall product and features. The touchscreen is not immediately intuitive, but was able to figure it out for a trial, including deleting my initial shots, with not too much effort even without the PDF manual. Careful setting the date/time, it is not easy to figure out how to get back to reset it after the initial setup and me pushing the wrong button. I recommend the product, based on just a brief initial use.

  Love the pocket size and will be a staple on short trips. The small CD manual will not work in slot inserted CD-DVD drives on many computers. Had to copy the disc to a larger CD disc to be used on our Mac laptops. Easy to use but not really intuitive. Works well for relatively short HD videos.

  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Had to return the first one because of damaged battery connections. Second one works perfectly.

  I am happy with my purchase. As an amateur, I have some things to familiarize myself with. As with any product, this camcorder has is pluses and its minuses. On the plus side it produces a high quality image. On the negative side, you can only use the one video player to view your videos. Only a few editing options are available through this viewer. So that makes it impossible to do any type of advanced editing you might like to do. All in all I am pleased with my purchase and only hope to inform a perspective buyer of the things to expect.
