Digilife Digital Camcorder with 2-inch LCD and Remote

I purchased this product for my son for Xmas. He has been wanting a camcorder for years and he was not disappointed when he opened up this one. He likes it very much. I like all the features. All in one camera, camcorder, the ability to upload to the computer with ease. The size makes is easily portable. The mic has good pickup. The simplicity of it means my son has already mastered it. I would recommend it to anyone just begining to do home movies and personal things.

We would highly recommend for someone who wants a simple digital video/still camera. Not a lot of features, but when you want something for point and shoot this is a great buy. I like it for my husband to use for hunting, camping small enough to fit a pocket and great for pics or video. You don't have to do much in the menu so that is great for the technologitcally challenged out there! Battery life is great, 2 AA lasted the entire day for a field trip and I had inside photo's as well as outside, video and bus pictures etc... SD card can be up to 4 gig and the 2 gig card we had was able to take all my photos and the kids for the entire day. So that was really nice. Good luck, great camera if you don't want to spend a lot, but the pictures are great.

I was looking for something compact and serves multiple purposes (camera and video). This camera meets those needs and more. I've not had a lot of time to play around with the camera but find pictures taken in low light are not very sharp. Both pictures and video taken outdoors in daylight or indoors under bright lights are of a much higher quaility.

1. There is no internal memory, so you must buy a memory card in addition to the purchase price which brings the price of this frame up $20+ dollars. 2. It hums; when the frame is changing pictures, the frame makes a humming sound; i bought 3 for Xmass and all 3 do the same thing so it wasn't just 1 bad one. 3. Image quality is poor at best. Pictures are dull, and if you adjust the "brightness" the picture basically just washes out. 4. The "wood" frame look isn't pulled off at all; it looks like a plastic piece of junk....which it basically is. Spend a little more on another frame and save in the long run. By comparison to the others I have bought there is much better quality out there, that come with internal memory and look nicer too.
