I bought this for my teen-age nephew (16 yrs old) for his birthday. I didn't want to get him a shirt or basketball. I wanted to get something that he would really dig. The reviews looked good, so took a chance. The day he received it in the mail he left a message on my voice mail. (This is from a kid who never calls me.) He was hoopin' and hollerin' about how cool the camera is. A few weeks later his mother told me that he is preparing to make his debut movie with a couple of his buddies at school. I asked my sister about the quality of the picture. She said that my nephew was filming everything and downloading it on his laptop. She said the picture looked good to her and that her son seemed to have no problems with it. (I also got him a memory card for it.) SO, I'm happy with the deal because he is happy! Thanks!

A great little camera to use for everyday use. Photos are good and video is good. Memory is not great, but a good card and you are all set. I like the fact you can plug into the TV and watch the videos and pictures. Overstock's customer service was awesome. This was a recommended replacement for one I had returned and they were great in helping me with return and finding a new item.

not happy with overstock because as much as i wanted the product that i order overstock couldn't make arrangement with me so that i could get the product that i had order from them. I call overstock to make arragement for delivery and they couldn't help me because they said that they couldn't sent my product to my brother address and i explain that i live in a building and the time that fed-x was delivering my package i was at work, so i wanted to know if i could re-direct the product to my brother and they say NO, so i sent the product back to them and thats why im very disappointed with them because they made no effort so that i could have the product deliver.
this was the first time i had ever order from them and the last time because i can't have anything big deliver to me.....

this is a great product first of all. the value is great, it's easy to use, and and it's great for anyone who wants a camcorder. I didn't know what to buy as far as camcorders go, but this camera had really good reviews and i just thought, well heck, why don't i get this one. I am not disappointed that I bought this. Although it doesn't have the greatest picture and video quality in the world, it is still very good, and lives up to its 11 megapixels. Battery life is decent. Internal memory is not much at all, but an sd card fixes that swiftly. Overall, this is a great camera for someone who wants a cheap but very effective camera.

We would highly recommend for someone who wants a simple digital video/still camera. Not a lot of features, but when you want something for point and shoot this is a great buy. I like it for my husband to use for hunting, camping small enough to fit a pocket and great for pics or video. You don't have to do much in the menu so that is great for the technologitcally challenged out there! Battery life is great, 2 AA lasted the entire day for a field trip and I had inside photo's as well as outside, video and bus pictures etc... SD card can be up to 4 gig and the 2 gig card we had was able to take all my photos and the kids for the entire day. So that was really nice. Good luck, great camera if you don't want to spend a lot, but the pictures are great.

What can I say?! I bought this camcorder for my 11-year old daughter. She wanted one so bad for her birthday! It's very user-friendly, easy to use and produces great quality still pictures, audio, and movies. This is definitely a "MUST HAVE"!! I'm even going to get myself one!! I bought a 1 gig Scan Disk and that is just enough for her. Thanks Overstock... for top quality at at great price... you can't go wrong!!!!!!!!!

Haven't had the chance to use this product to its fullest capacity because I haven't had it long enough which is the only reason I give it an overall rating of 4 stars. The size is perfect for taking anywhere. Quite impressive, all inclusive and the price is unbeatable. I know this is going to be a 5 star product!

This is my first camcorder and it seems to be pretty good so far. I'm still trying to figure all the buttons out and will for now only give it a three star rating. I would proably change it to a five star, once I figure out all the features out. I'm hoping to make many home movies and upload them to my family and friends. This will also be a backup to my kodack camera.

THIS CAMERA DOES IT ALL!! IMAGE QUALITY IS GREAT, VERY EASY TO USE & A LOT OF OPTIONS. ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE HAD IS WITH THE SOFTWARE THAT COMES WITH IT. I CAN'T SEEM TO STRING MULTIPLE VIDEOS TOGETHER TO BURN. THE PHOTO SOFTWARE IS AWESOME & EASY. A LITTLE STUMPED WITH THE VIDEOS. I'LL CONSULT A PROFESSIONAL WITH THAT ISSUE. ALL IN ALL IT'S GREAT. I CAN'T WAIT TO TAKE IT ON MY CRUISE!!!!

I was looking for something compact and serves multiple purposes (camera and video). This camera meets those needs and more. I've not had a lot of time to play around with the camera but find pictures taken in low light are not very sharp. Both pictures and video taken outdoors in daylight or indoors under bright lights are of a much higher quaility.

Pro: sleek, solid, great pics, multiple functions, beautiful still photos, runs on AA batteries. Dropped it 3 times and still no problems.
Con: SD card maxes at 2G, Cannot zoom during video
Fits in a pocket and on a helicopter tour of Kauai, other guests were fumbling with giant video and still cams, I had a palm-sized camera. Provoked comments every time I took it out. Even fit in my shorts for a run along the beach.

I took many pictures and about 3 of 10 were very blurry most of them were clear but its always the photos you realy want the most. No lighting for night videos this did upset me a bit ...... Day time Videos are wonderful , I think for the money you could do better.

This item is spectacular, i bought it for my niece as a x-mas gift and she loves. Besides it being a multi-optional camcorder it takes beautiful clear pictures. This product is highlt recommended.

The price is OK, makes good pix and movies, but one MUST read the instruction booklet. I like also, that it uses 2 regular AA batteries which don't seem to run down often. So far it is a good value and fun to use.

The size is compact and easy to fit in your pocket which is nice but taking any video from afar is very blurry. Also there is no night vision so it is next to impossible to record videos in dim light. very disappointing.

This was Santa's Christmas gift for our 15-year-old son. He loves the size of the camera and how it operates but the memory size it came with is so ridiculously small that you should sell an extra memory card with the camera.
