The DVD ROM Drive was Defective upon arrival. Although I have an extende warantee, it caost as much in terms of time and expense for repair/replacement as it did to fix it at my own expense. I am disappointed that this item passed quality assurance inspection.

The computer was shipped to me relatively quickly, and as I excitedly removed it from the box, I was pleased to see no sign of damage or defect. However, when I hooked it up to my monitor and turned it on it would not load Windows. It kept trying and trying to boot up, but encountered some error every time. As I inspected the unit further I discovered that I had been shipped the 2.8 GHz version to top it off!. So, I was sent a computer that didn't work, and it wasn't even the right computer! I surely hope the return process is a breeze.
