  I always buy HP and have many in service as an IT professional. However this is a listing for a Intel 2.3 GHz CPU. Once I received the units they where not 2.3 gig as listed but a 2.0 instead. What is the big deal well the 2.0 processor is slower and much older. Instead of a 1,333 front side bus I was expecting I got a 800 mhz with little cache. The Motherboard chipset, memory, video, audio, ect.... are all different. This unit is listed as "REFURBISHED" it is not. At minimum a refurbished unit should be cleaned inside and out. The outside looked good. However the inside had all the dust and fuzz balls of the last owner. Not a little but a lot!!!! Overstock was the best to resolve the issue but weeks after my retuning these units. I see they are still listed as the 2.3GHz they are not. Overstock should also look at dropping the vendor providing these units.

  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Very Dirty Inside Not Referbished
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. This is not a refurbished PC!! Wrong Specs!! Very Dirty!!

  The monitor was in perfect condition I think it might have been brand new. The keyboard and mouse were brand new I was not expecting that. All of the cords and software where there as well and in perfect condition. The computer is fast and in good shape BUT an error comes up in the control panel. You are not able to change any settings due to this. I called and got a replacement right away and Overstock customer service was great and fast. However the next computer HAD THE SAME ISSUE! This might be an issue with refurbished models I am not sure as this is the first time I have purchased one. I bought this for my mom and she only uses it for emails and web so we just decided to keep it since it works well and so far has not effected her from doing simple task. However if we need to use the control panel we will have to take it in to get fixed since Overstock does not offer any type of help with internal computer issues. Hopefully this will not be an issue moving forward. Other than that...

  Even though the product was refurbished I would expect the product to at least work during the initial setup. Called overstock and they said they would ship a new monitor and cables out to see if that would fix the problem. Waiting to receive the new cables and monitor to see if that fixes the problem.

  Good for use in second round. It still has live for the second time. No problem this. Last order, bad experience. Bad refurbished unit of my last order. This time is really great!

  We purchased 4 of these units. They run very well in our business enviroment. We use them for word processing, spreadsheet, email, internet connectivity, and other medium duty applications. The packaging the computers were shipped in was excellent and protected them.very well. We are very happy with this purchase.
