Item was ok except for slight defects here and there. Moreover, the cd compartment was damaged and it was hard to close or open it. You have to manually use your hand to pull really hard and to close it the same. Other than that, item was good. I did not bother to return it because I was so busy at that time and having already installed some applications such as Microsoft office suites etc., it was hard to go through the process of being without a computer for some days. Overall, the computer is ok and will recommend it as long as you find time to return it should it have any defects like mine did.

It didn't work. I sent it back. Period. However, it was the easiest return, at least, that I ever made.

This gaming computer received great reviews, and so I took a chance on it for my children. My son specifically told me not to purchase windows 8. This came with windows 7. A gaming computer is so much more powerful than a regular computer. It has increased memory, performance, speed, and advanced video and audio cards. I would not just recommend this computer for gaming, but also for use as a desktop computer. There is nothing that you can't do on here that you can't do on a regular desk top - PLUS SO MUCH MORE - than a desktop. Cyberpower is a popular name in gaming computers, while one may not recognize as they would HP, Dell, etc. The bottom line is that I was very pleased with this purchase, and if I could not buy a MAC, I would buy this gaming computer, as opposed to any other desktop.

I was looking for a computer for home use to replace my old out of date desk top. This re-furbished Dell is just what I needed. It is quick, comes with Windows 7 and is much smaller than my old one. The keyboard is not of great quality, the 'Back' key is too small. Overall, I think I got a great deal on a real quality product.

Keyboard was cracked. Still works. Looks like you guys threw in a cheapo keyboard in case the customer did not already have one. I will probably go buy a new keyboard but just wanted to let you know it was cracked with a three-inch wide hole above the Esc to the F3 buttons. Thanks

This PC was never looked at by anyone at Overstock or was the victim of Overstock handling. The PC was wrapped to well with bubble wrap to have been dropped in shipping to cause the damage. The impact of the fall caused the CPU fan and housing to be knocked free from the case and laying in pieces. The CMOS battery was dead which is the best indication that the PC was never looked at other than dropped. It hadn't been turned on for so long the battery run down from no charge. I probably won't purchase another refurbished or other wise used PC from Over stock.

Being the item was refurbished, it did not have all the bells and whistles we are accustom to. The "personalization" selections were none, as a matter of fact, what is on the computer, leads me to believe it may have been an Asian computer. It took forever to have it accept all the "updates". There is nothing wrong with the computer, it is me, I will purchase new next time.

Installed a monitor, keyboard and mouse to the desktop and turned it on. Everything worked perfectly. I mainly use this as a back up to my laptop so I don't use it for gaming or other hardcore applications so this is a perfect desktop.

We owned a Dell desktop that was about 8 years old. We really only wanted to replace the computer itself. Our monitor and keyboard/mouse were fine. It was the perfect find for us. We could not be happier. We simply purchased an external hard drive and transferred the things we wanted to save and when ready we unplugged the old and installed the new. It took all of 5 minutes. That included replacing our home network wireless router, too. NGR (No Geeks Required).

This item was a refurbished Dell Business Desktop (XP Editiion) computer that someone installed Windows 7 Home Premium on. It works really good and I have not had any issues with it. Thankfully it is dual core pentium and so it can handle Windows 7 pretty good. In spite of it's age it is very fast. Even going online with IE 8 is fast (a couple of seconds). Web pages load quickly and programs would probably open in a second or two if not for the built in security features of Windows 7 where you have to give all programs permission to open but since I always use Comodo firewall on my computers, I am used to that anyway. It comes with the Windows 7 CD in case you have some issue that requires you to do a re-install and the back up disk making software included in Windows 7 is excellent. There are a lot of good things about Windows 7 but it has it drawbacks too. There are a lot privacy invasive issues with Windows 7 that I was not too keen about and the contract that you have to agree to before they will activate it also stinks and nearly made me send back the PC. The keyboard is a standard, run-of-the-mill, no name cheapie that costs about $5 if purchased separately and mine shorted out about two weeks after I purchased my desktop but Overstock was on the ball and all I had to do was call and explain the problem and they immediately set about getting and shipping me another one and told me that I didn't have to return the old one so I just threw it out. The mouse is also a standard run-of-the-mill mouse corded, nothing special. Over all this was a good deal but the issues that I have with how invasive Windows 7 is keeps me from giving this a five star rating.

After receiving 2 of this product and returning both before I order a different system my experience was a disaster. While setting up the systems with MS updates and my personal software I could not boot them after an update and a requested shut down. After many hours of searching the net and trying many suggested fixes I had to return both computers. I am awaiting my credit and will try again then. I must mention that customer service was a great help thru their chat line and made returning the computers very easy.

I ordered about 8 computers from Overstock and have not been disappointed yet. The computers, all refurbs, are just like new. Very clean, works out of the box. Setup process works as expected. Great $$ value for previously used equipment. Joy Systems does a very nice job reconditioning computers as well as packaging. You can't go wrong buying refurbs from Overstock.
