I needed an XP Pro operating system for a small business, so I bought this. It is very slow. Acer put a nifty little recovery system in which you can make back ups but you can only back up to a CD - guess what, it doesn't come with a CD burner. They were kind enough to send me some recovery disks when I called though. No wordprocessor or spreadsheet software either, I thought at least it would have Microsoft Works but maybe that's the trend now. The price was right at the time, but it definetely is a stripped down model. Overall, I think I'd look at something else next time.
