Wow! This thing is amazing! And it was just $** bucks??? What you take out of the box is a neat flat canvas bag that includes the two lights (very high quality) in pockets on the front, then the light box itself, which is somehow attached to the canvas bag. It's a little hard to describe, but with a few flips of the flaps (which adhere together with velcro), you've got yourself a light box. The box is somewhat small, so it's meant for shooting small items like jewelry, and it also features red, white and black backgrounds, which also attached with velcro. This lightbox doesn't come with instructions, so you have to figure things out yourself (not a big deal), and it's a little odd that the canvas bag and lightbox are attached, meaning they're all one item. I live in a small apartment, so it was a little cumbersome setting this up on my kitchen table. But that's really a minor criticism, considering the price. It's such a high quality product that it would seem that the *wholesale* price would be $**. And the lights are amazing, too. Don't understand at all the complaint from another reviewer who said they're not that bright. Geez, how much brighter would he want it? They do get red hot, though, so like another reviewer said, be sure to let them cool down completely before putting them away. Overall, an outstandting item for the price. I did a few test shots with it, and already my jewelry looks amazing. No more harsh light reflections from shooting by the window. Buy with confidence.

During first use, the camera tripod broke off from where it screwed into camera, I have since glued it and am very careful when using. The lights were not bright enough to illuminate the inside of box, I added two of my own brighter lights and set by window for better lighting. I would have returned, but didn't want to deal with the hastle. I guess the only plus is that using the box gives a good background for photos.

I think this is a wonderful product for the price! The lights are plenty bright enough for my purposes, but they do get very hot! The whole package is very compact, I have not traveled with it yet, but I believe it would be very convenient.

The photo box is compact and portable and easy to use which is a big plus for me.. Also having 4 choice background colors is fantastic. The box & background cloth is great. The lamps is not very bright and gets so hot within seconds of being on that it feels dangerous to keep them on. The lamps gets an F for Failure. It's useless in my opinion. The camera stand is a tad bit wimpy but it will get the job done. Overall the entire assembly system is OK.

I was going to make my own until my grandmother suggested I find one online. I looked and found this one. It was cheaper than I thought for one. I thought they're like one hundred dollars or something. This one is thirty dollars. I actually just got it in the mail two hours ago and was excited to review it. It didn't come with directions, but I guess it's a little obvious what you do with it. So, I set it up and turned the lights on and experimented with different ways to put the lights on the box. I found, when it's light in the room, you put it directly on the object and when it's dark, put it on the sides of the box. The lights do get very hot, so I'd suggest letting them cool down before putting them away.

This item is a very good value. It did not come with instructions so we've had a little bit of a challenge figuring out how to attach the color backgrounds. Good product over all and I would recommend it.

I couldn't be happier with this product. It was so much more than I bargained for (pun intended). It comes with its own carry case (didn't realize when I bought it) and 4 different shades of backdrop (white, black, blue (shown) and red). I am so happy with this product and I think it is going to send my sales through the roof!

This is a helpful product for photographing things for sale on ebay or other similar sites. The lights burn very hot so be careful. Overall it does what I wanted but I have to use adjunctive lighting. The supplied lights are just not ideal. They are not diffused widely enough. Too much spotlight like and unadjustable.
