I ordered this computer to replace one that I had been using for 8 years. I wasn't used to much since my computer was so old and this one was so inexpensive but boy was I surprised! This computer comes complete with windows 7 and is lightening fast. And yet it was under 200 dollars, how amazing is that?! This perfect for me and I would recommend it to anyone who has a set location for a computer in their home office or at work! Very, very pleased!

I purchased this computer for a church and really was trying to take a cheap route but this computer is so nice my husband and I want one for ourselves. There are no flaws that I can tell and the product came in less than a week. Everything was package well and instructions on registering the refurbished product were clear. I also choose this computer so we could burn CDs and the other DVD ROM model didn't offer this option. Windows 7 was already installed and they sent the disk as back up. They also sent a check list showing that different components of the computer are tested before its sent out to a customer. I am beyond satisfied. I don't think I will ever buy a new computer, save your money and get a bargain off the manufacturers re-do's. Plus with $3 shipping.You really can't beat the price ANYWHERE.

30 days into owning this the software for windows says it's illegal. and then I treied by using the system restore nothing the factory condition disk and nothing I still get the same thing. this has happened twice as I was sent a replacement. donb't waste your money or your time it's illegal software on this thing and after 30 days you will have to purchase software to use it.

Ordered on a Sunday and received on Thursday. Was packed well and everything was as expected. Plugged everything in and everything seems to be working fine. Don't have files transferred yet from old computer and uncertain if my old printer is going to work with this machine. The refurbished Dell Optiplex GX620 isn't as quiet as my old machine but not terribly intrusive. Overall, I would say it was well worth the money for a basic home computer. Thanks for the "honesty in advertising" and delivering product promised. A good value for the money.

If you're ordering from Canada, be prepared to wait 3 weeks to a month to get this item. It doesn't show up on the tracking system until 2.5 weeks, and then not until in Canada and sent out from Canada Post. Be patient, it will arrive! All worked great for about a week, then had to re-set to factory settings, as a virus got on my computer. Wasn't sure I had the re-set disk, but the windows 7 disk sent along with the computer also can re-set the computer to factory settings. Ran into some difficulty because the computer disk was partitioned and I'm a newbie at these things. So, I contacted Joy Systems, (there is a full one-year warranty on the computer) and Manbir was so helpful and patient. Walked me through the whole process; stayed on phone to make sure I was set, and since then it's been working at top-notch level. Very quiet system, and since there is room for more memory, (two more gbs) I'll be purchasing memory sticks to add speed (though it is much quicker than my old noisy XP). Make sure you download MicroSoft Security Essentials (free program) and get Malwarebytes (anti-virus program) so that your system is protected properly. Researched Joy Systems (who refurbishes these computers) and they're a top-notch certified Microsoft refurbishing company with great ratings. You don't need to hesitate. If you're looking for a reasonably priced, replacement computer, that is great for just about anything you'll need, buy this one. If you need one in the future, don't pay top-dollar, simply think green and buy another refurbished model. Great service from Overstock and from Joy Systems. Many thanks from ***** in canada!!!

This makes an excellent second computer or a very good value computer. It has everything you need to get started except a monitor, all software is preloaded, you just plug it in and turn it on. It is slightly underpowered in RAM, but it uses 2 one gig memory sticks and has slots for two more, so the memory is both easily accessible and easy to add more if desired. All in all, an outstanding value for the price.

The first computer I received did not work and it was replaced with no problem. Second has worked well. This is the 3rd refurbished computer I have purchased from Overstock and will probably never buy a new one again. For normal household chores this is super.

Computer was easy to hook up - is very fast and easy to understand. Only down side is the computer sounds like it is taxiing for lift off. Exceptional value. Much better than I had expected for the price.

Delivered on time, everything was well packaged, for a refurbished computer its clean, great speed and runs quietly,and you can't beat the price , definitely please.

Paper work said it had Windows 7 installed, it did not. Paper work said there was a trial period for Microsoft Office, there was not. Had to Load Windows 7 from disk, somewhat difficult as there were no steps laid out how, but I managed ok. one of the slots for an extra card did not have a cover in the back, no big deal. Worst thing was the disk drive would work and then not. Had to replace it with one from my old desk top. no big deal but still. So far the computer runs good and intend on installing maximum amount of RAM some day. Overall not bad for the price, but it was not the best Overstock.com could do. just sayin. peace
