Just received the system and plugged the wireless adapter dongle I was using on my previous Dell but it won't work on this one. Do I need to buy a wireless card for this to connect to the internet?

Just found the answer. My adapter was faulty. Bought a new one and plugged it in, and the internet is connected.
It is possible that the wireless device needs to be installed with the CD that likely accompanied it. Windows XP is not always "plug and play".
